Let's go Nuggets!
I want Suns and Clips to lose so we can have slightest chance to get CP3 or Kawhi.

_We_ cleared space at the deadline. The Nets cleared space in June.

I knew the moment they traded Allan Crabbe someone told them to make room.

That was not a good sign.

What I didn't know is that Durant would make a full recovery. He... looks the same. Maybe lost something on D.

Ayton has to move back quicker in defense. He has to be aware where Jokic is on the floor.

I think you can win with Jokic and Embiid, but the Sixers refusing to give up Simmons for Harden is a top 5 idiotic move of the decade and we're only a year in.

A healthy Harden is the best guard in the NBA right now. He shoots, he sets up the offense, he defends, and he's very strong. He's very unflappable and has great basketball knowledge - he knows what his team needs. Philly were idiots for doing that, but hey, trust the process.

NewKnicks twisting my words some. I don't think it's ideal for your PG to be your best scorer, but that's the beauty of great players and great sports. It wasn't likely that someone would come along and be the heavyweight champion of the world by knocking out all his opponents in the first round every fight but that's how it went down with Mike Tyson basically.

Trae is their best scorer but he's also a very natural PG, he also benefits from the rules, he's a smart but also brash player, etc

He's just mad that I don't think Ja is that good and I don't. Trae is a pretty different player actually. But if Ja can lead his team to greatness as a little PG, I'll give him his due too.

So in a roundabout way you mean to say is that Trae Young may just be an exception to that rule like steph curry and kyrie are? I would say this era of wings, Lebron/KD/Kawhi and the previous era of wings MJ/Kobe are all exceptions, exceptional players and absolute freaks of nature as well.

Trae this playoffs has been very steve nash-esque, except with double the aggression with regards to shooting; really impressive

I wouldn't necessarily put Kyrie in that class. He won with Bron. He's also a very gifted scorer of course. Steph is the ultimate basketball freak. Nobody has ever done what he's done.

So yes and no. But yes of course there are exceptions to rules. I doubt seriously Ja will be that. All the guys we're talking about are pretty special. Even Nash didn't win. Maybe it's changing. Who knows.

I don't think it's changing to make guys like Ja great, no I don't, but I could be wrong.

point taken on kyrie, but do you really think steph is more of a basketball freak than lebron? he's the ultimate physical specimen who was somehow blessed with great body control and court vision/passing. the gap b/w steph and dame isnt as big as lebron and the next guy in his archetype

He's actually much better than Randle. Look how much he improved going from Detroit to Brooklyn! Not even Randle went from dead to ahead. Only the one and only Blake, only.

I believe it was Maxey they refused to give up, not Ben. So it looks much worse

We still call him Maxey? Not mini Maxey?

Were the Rockets even willing to deal Harden to Morey though? Trade negotiations may have been done in bad faith.
