Not gonna lie. I like Embiid or Giannis paired with Trae one day.

To be honest Embiid or Giannis would like that too

Hawks did what they had to do. Split in Philadelphia and take home court. Sixers were undefeated with their starters playing all season at home and hawks won game one. That’s all they needed to do.

To say game 3 is must win. It is for both teams. Atlanta is very good at home as well.

Collins has not done anything well this game.

Collins had a game 2 stinker vs the Knicks as well, then was much better at home and the final road game. He has the games pop up where he plays like a rookie.

The hawks are fine with capela guarding Embiid. But hawks have to hard double team Embiid and yes that includes even trae young throwing his 160 pound body to help out. But really John Collins needs to double down to help out on Embiid. Single coverage is suicide vs Embiid especially when he’s within 5 feet.

Watch the 2019 raptors series. Watch Leonard cheat down to help Gasol when Embiid gets closer. That’s how you defend Embiid.

Or just hope he runs out of gas. Embiid was out of gas end of the 3rd quarter. If shake didn’t get hot. I don’t know if Sixers could hang on with Embiid on the bench.
Because ATL doesn't have Kawhi or even a Marcus Smart. Embiid is much improved vs double teams and teams sending in **** defenders like Trae to double almost always ends in disaster for the defense.

Hawks are missing DeAndre Hunter's defense, long, tall agile defender. Cam is also a good defender with length but he's missed 50+ games with an achilles injury.

I fell asleep after too many carbs for dinner and missed Shake's big night. Now it's a series, but the Hawks did what they had to do to get home court for now.

Hawks starters all heavily negative +/- wise for the second game in a row.

Expecting another split in Atlanta, unless our bench can show something collectively they haven't until this point

Happy for Shake Milton who had been struggling. This game was a great learning game for the Hawks. 20 assists isn’t winning basketball for them. They need to move the ball and find open shooters to win. At the end of the day, this series looks like it is going to be a great series. Hawks need Hunter to help with Embid.

On to Atlanta.....

I can't believe how good Embiid is. There is not a single soul in the league who can handle him at this point in his career.

What r u talking about?

The only difference he made was sitting on thr bench allowing his team to then tske it from a tied game to an almost 20 point lead while he sat n watched from the bench rather than sitting and watching from the block

Everyone on the court with embiid was getting a free plus minus

Why is this hard to understand? He also had the lowest of the 5 starters. Our run was with him on the bench. I dont need any cherry picked stat to tell me why we went on our huge game winning run with him parked on the bench instead of parked on the block

Hmm...whether to start a kneejerk 'Is Trae overrated?" or "Is Embiid the GOAT big man?" thread...

Choices...choices...hmmm...

Joel was on the bench during the run too. Yes we would all like an aggressive Ben Simmons but they didn’t need him to score tonight. They needed him on Trae. Calm down and just be happy with the win jfc.

If the Sixers can get anything out of their bench, this is going to be over real fast. The Sixers starters are destroying the Hawks and the Hawks have zero answers for Embiid or Harris who can get whatever they want at any time.
