I probably say no, but just for ****s and giggles, a

Jimmy/Iggy (opt in) for CJ/Simons/Covington/Kanter

CJ/Simons/Vincent
Herro/Ellington (FA)
Duncan/
Covington/
Bam/Kanter

yea we'd suck, but would have $$ to play with to fill out the roster. Would need a legit 6th man and an upgrade to Covington.

I have no interest in CJ if it means giving up Jimmy.

A generous appraisal of such a swap would be a push.

Even if Mia get pieces like Covington and Kanter, is does nothing to move the needle.

If Mia were to trade Butler, (an implausibility), it would likely be to rebuild with young players and picks.

No to CJ for Yimmy. CJ ain't it.

I suppose the optimist wonders if Lowry can have a CP3 like effect on this team. It's not like the Suns added much to their roster since the bubble. CP3 and Crowder really the main 2 guys added, the rest was organic growth from Bridges, Ayton and Cam Johnson and Cam Payne. Booker is Booker, he's always been good and his numbers are near identical from last season.

If we added Lowry and Ibaka, it would add increased shooting and interior defense - and a true PG playmaker. If we get some organic growth from Herro, Achiuwa/Okpala and Bam takes another lift, we could be right there.

CJ looks like a glorified JR Smith tbh. As a 2nd option for years, he has been average and sometimes meh.

Wilt is right. We need a game breaker player like CP3 or Lowry on this team.

Money would be useless if no one wants to come here. I don’t see them being a playoff team at all, even in the East.

I just learned that Beno has a brother, Samo Udrih. Samo is 6'5" and 41 years old, career 35% from 3 in international play

Would be the ideal starting PF next to Bam

I'm intrigued. We need to make a bunch of hit for singles moves like this and not swing for home runs (whales) imo.

So I'm not going through the last 30 pages but so far we've come up with

-Trade Jimmy for CJ and Simon
-Sign Ibaka whose back is shot
-Sign Winslow
-Sign Samo Udrih

no wonder people wanted me to make the off-szn thread Opie :x

Kemba Walker will be available.

Kendrick Nunn, Mario Chalmers and a 2nd round pick. Make it happen, Riles.

Still remember when Zoran dropped 22 in the season finale v Philly. Thought he was OK tbh, surprised he didn't get a longer look.

I'd be interested in bringing JaMychal Green in. Averaged 8 and 5 in 20 minutes this season. Shoots the 3 ball at 40% clip and hits 1.4 per game. He was a starter in Memphis a couple years back and put up 10/8 in 28mpg, but he's a better shooter now.

He's about to turn 31, so still should have a few years of reasonable production in him. I'd prefer Ibaka as he's bigger, but if that's not possible, I'd be comfortable with Green.

Lmao my spelling errors made that worse than it should've-- Yimmy might have 2 years left, at max, CJ should be 24/25 PPG (With more shots) for about 4 or so years and could keep us appealing for FA's a little longer and a little closer to Bam/Herro's primes; which wouldn't be the worse thing in the world

If we were fully hitting reset...

Jimmy to Denver for Michael Porter Jr and some picks wouldn't be the worst call. Would want other assets included though.
