JC's handle was much better.
I think the interesting thing here is to see if IQ improves his game, which, let's be honest with ourselves, has some holes in it which, if not rectified, could impact his value on our team.
1. His handle is only "decent".
2. He's weak around the rim, unless it's a floater. (I don't care what the stats say.)
3. He's inconsistent, which is not unexpected at this stage, but still he needs to show consistency.
4. I'm not convinced he has the necessary court-vision and passing ability to be a no. 1 PG in the NBA.

I was lived in Philly for about 30 years and loved Hersey. He had the most beautiful jump shot. Picture perfect. I see where you're coming from but I'm not sure I agree with it. Hersey was 6'4", if I recall, and was better around the rim than IQ (though it's early). Hersey was great fundamentally and knew when to cut to the basket plus he was a pure 2 guard. Speaking of which ...
What about bringing Dougie McBuckets back to NYC? If we could get him and Brogdon and then resign DRose to come off the bench, I think we could add some wins to this seasons total. We can't take any steps backwards at this point.
