It still amazes me that just a couple of seasons ago all of these haters were all about the new Brooklyn Nets team culture. Oh, how quick they have been to throw all of that out the window now that we're a threat.
And you can tell that everyone was waiting for our heralded team culture to crumble beneath the weight of 3 'headcases' and look at the team. United, professional, unselfish, community minded, grit and grind, upstanding citizens. So I guess they have to say our building is ugly. Clowns.
Couldnt have said it any better.
Wasn't Kyrie a selfish head case? I even heard Boston was better off with Kemba than Kyrie.
KD? I heard he'd be lucky to be back as a top 10 player.
Harden? I heard he was incapable of playing anything but Harden-ball.
You have PC mods actively rooting against these guys as if they did things other stars didnt. Like AD forcing his way out of New Orleans. Sounds a lot like Harden as well.
At least KD and Kyrie never actively tried to trade their teammates behind their back. And I'll never get the KD is "soft" labels. Man came back risked his career to help GSW against the Raptors, that's true toughness and selflessness.
Kyrie says things he believes in, even if I occasionally disagree with his premise. I respect that.
I get that people will root for who they want, but some of the "reasonings" are pretty hypocritical if you ask me.
Elite playoff isolation scoring at solid efficiency without being too much of a black hole has a lot of more value than the PC board thinks. The results speak for themselves which is why it is puzzling to me that Kevin Garnett was recognized as a retro player of the year, yet Kobe and Durant NEVER got recognized that way. We're talking about guys who are multiple FMVPs and have proven to have great scalability at being ceiling raisers. Baffling to say the least.
