"He will be re-evaluated in four months." Four months?! Re-evaluated?? That means he could be out for even longer than that. Season starts on October 19. Now that's a setback.

I'm going back to watching Justin Fields videos.

Yeah with the season for sure starting in October now, it's entirely possible Coby isn't ready for the first game. Outside of the trade value, that's the biggest deal here.

Well I wouldn't expect any big offseason improvements from Coby this year as he will now be rehabbing all summer.

This is going to hurt his development, unfortunately. The season starts in October, so if he has any setbacks he'll have very little time to prepare before the season starts.

Its not the end of the world, but players getting injured is definitely news you dont want to hear. Hopefully the Karmic debt from enduring his injury gets the Bulls luck with the lotto balls.

You know what, I prefer this happen now than in the middle or the backend of the season, so fine. Plus, if this gives the front office another push to bring in a better quality point guard, even better. Because as it stands, without Coby, that hole becomes significantly larger now to start the season.
