We don't need to overreact but we had a chance to put them away. Milwaukee still hasn't had one good shooting game. I don't think anyone would be surprised if they got that in game 4. Were not some elite defensive team. This is just a big wasted opportunity. If we just clearly lost, I'd be cool. We choked and just handed them the game.

Why is he even on the floor when we are up 1 with the ball or down 2 with the ball?

Don't be shook. The Nets played bad and yet had minimal turnovers and overcame a disastrous 1st quarter to lose by 3.

We aren't the ones who need to be worried here. If the Nets come out Sunday with their usual execution it will be a hot afternoon for the Bucks and not in a good way.

If he thinks he's option 1, we need to get Shamet or James out there even if it hurts on defense.

Ridiculous. Just a wasted game.

Brown did everything right. he took the shots he always takes and should take. he shouldnt be on the floor late game when we are going possession by possesion. put shamet or mike james in for offense there.

Awful coaching.

Regardless of their defense, our 3 best shooters missed open looks that they usually make. That was the difference, regardless of everything else.

I’m not gonna be too hard on Brown. Yeah he took two awful shots late, but he was also the biggest reason we erased their 21 point lead in the first place.

Our issue was our best offensive players played way below their average, regardless of the defense they faced.

Harris was the worst player on either team tonight.

But when the game is one the line you can't take multiple dumb shots. It was inexcusable.

We had the lead and we blew it away because of his stupid shots.

No they didn't. Bucks shot ~38% FG, and poor from 3 once again.

You live with KD or Kyrie missing those shots.

He didnt want to be a hero.

Kyrie pick and roll they left brown alone. he got a clean look vs a late rotation.

Second one was a broken inbounds play we almost turned over. they came hard at kyrie and brown had an open lane with the clock under 10.

It's not awful coaching, Bruce Brown has great value on offensive glass and on screen & roll. Bruce Brown's decision to take a terrible layup with so much time left is completely on him, not the coaching staff.

Amen. A terrible game by pretty much the entire team and some horrifically bad officiating and the Nets only lost by 3?

Exactly.

Not gonna call anyone out, but collectively we need to chill. The Nets went down 30-9 in this game and the Bucks had to scratch and claw their way to a 3 point win. If we come out next game like we usually do, this series will be 3-1 headed back to Brooklyn for the finishing blow.

none of that matters. their 1 point win where our guys play poor counts the same as our 40 point win.

As i mentioned earlier, role guys suck on the road. ours did as predicted for the most part. Harris especially. Why he played so much is beyond me. we didnt even extend shamet or try TJ.

Their role guys should have been better at home. they werent.

this is going 7. and we will lose EVERY close game because of nash's coaching,

That's on Nash. Bruce did a fantastic job tonight but you have to know your personnel. We should have had Irving, James, Harris, Durant and Griffin

That was not a clean look, wtf are you talking about?

The lane opened up for him, but then the Bucks defense collapsed on his drive and he ended up taking a terrible shot. Now if Bruce Brown was an actual shooting threat, it's a different story.

Don't overreact. If we execute better offensively Sunday this series is 3-1.

The real mistake by Nash was playing Joe Harris down the stretch in this game. He's our worst defender and our worst shooter (tonight). Completely useless on both ends and it cost us dearly. Would have rather seen Shamet or someone else.

Meh, easy to say Nash should have benched Brown, but Brown’s floater as the roll man was working all night.

Not sure how Nash is getting blamed lol. He’s outclassed Bud all series.

I'm dumb founded right now why so much exaggerating going on. Yeah we could've nailed this one tonight.

Y'all really scared of this Bucks team?

No but it was an annoying loss.

Is there such a thing as a good loss during PO. This team needs azz kicking at times to get it right. We've seen this before.

It was literally one position game that could've decided game.

Kyrie and Joe were horrid. Like right there at trash level. I don't expect Kyrie having same game, Joe damn he missed everything, you expect him to do same next game.....I hope he's not repeating that.

Nash and co. Did they really had no clue we had a TO. I mean you can blow this thing from many angles.

Also got to point out how poor our inbounds plays are. Feels like we never make much of an effort to screen for Kyrie or KD to get open. And that's not even taking into account the personnel decisions as Prok pointed out.

One close loss and the haters show up once again spouting their agenda. In the last two Nets wins, there was no credit given to Nash whatsoever. The agendas are too obvious.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
