He ain't stopping anybody, but he doesn't need to. Still crazy that he whacked Durant twice in the face on one motion. In the end all he has to do is force KD to take tough shots and keep him at the mid-range/3pt line. If he makes them, whatever great players will get theirs and there isn't anything you can do about that. Tucker just has to keep the team mentally tough and in check which is what you want from him. The positives to using this strategy against KD and Kyrie are the following if the Bucks want to get back in this series:

-Force Kyrie and KD to shoot. When teams go on a dry spell, the star players will try to force the issue at hand and it can backfire as seen by tonight.
-Don't allow any open looks for role players. Don't let any of the role players get going whether it's an open 3 or an open cut to the rim. Can't let the likes of Joe Harris, Landry Shamet, Bruce Brown, Blake Griffin and Nick Claxton beat you. When they are out of rhythm and are struggling to get open looks, it'll show.
-Attack the rim. Nets have good team defense, but besides Claxton they don't have anybody down low. If Griffin is the 5, they need to run the pick and roll between any of Giannis/Middleton/Holiday or whoever and attack Griffin which will eventually force Nash's hand.

I don't have much faith in coach Bud, but I'd love to be proved wrong.

Craig was a bum in Milwaukee. :nonono:

Maybe because he had a tight leash for bone headed plays, once to the point of injuring himself with no opponent assisting. But he just gave minimal effort at some point.

Durant missed some wide open looks that he usually makes in his sleep. Tucker tried but that was just an off night for KD and sadly for the Bucks Durant usually does not have to many of those.

It's not if KD will get 30 or not. It's how he gets those 30. He shot below 40%, only got to the FT 6 times, and had a 5AST/4TO ratio.

I'd say that is great work on a guy like Durant.... you're not gonna make the top guys in the league play really bad, but you can slow em down. It wasn't all Tucker but he played a good part on that.

Remember watching him, when he was playing in Germany. He was a star here. I had no doubt, that he would play a solid role in the NBA when he returned. Dude works his ass off

Kinda weird seeing everyone singing Tucker praises after last night's game. Did you guys watch the game? KD was getting whatever shot he wanted all night, he just missed a bunch of wide open midrange jumpers that he usually hits. PJ Tucker played 32 minutes and had more fouls than points/rebounds/assists combined. He is useless.
