Re: Around the NBA - Other Playoff Series
Utah doing this without Conley too. I expect them to take one in LA. Probably will win in 5 or 6 at worth at this point.
It's pretty nuts that the 3 teams who are/were up 2-0 look pretty scary. Nets came back down to earth last night. I expect us to also (in terms of, I don't expect a blowout win again). Utah I think will lose game 3

Preface: I like Stephen A Smith. I think he's fun to listen to. If you take him too seriously, you may not like him.
I can't believe he's saying that Mitchell is the greatest Jazz ever. Could he become that? Of course. But you don't become the greatest this early. Not when you have Stockton and Malone ahead of you.

He does really look like the second coming of DWade. But yeah I agree, that's ignoring a lot of history involving Stockton and Malone.

What I love is, he's on Utah. I'm so glad he's not on a team that's got a history of winning.
I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt knowing we could have had him.
There were no guarantees we would have taken him but when we supposedly could have traded Bledsoe to Denver for their first, and Mitchell was right there, he could have been the guy we go after.
But even still, our team is completely different if we had him so who knows what we'd look like today.

Embiid hitting those 3's makes him so hard to guard. I really hope DA improves his shooting and ball handling. If he can hit 3's at like a 35% clip even, and if he can pump/drive around the guy jumping at him, he'd be so deadly. Ala Embiid

I definitely think we should put Ayton on KD. He'd be a waste on Griffin. I'd put Bridges on Harden and CP3 on Kyrie.
I'd be a little worried KD would put Ayton on skates. Ayton's a good defender, but he tends to sink a little bit defending the perimeter and you can't give KD an inch. Nothing wrong with giving him more opportunity to protect the rim off-ball by guarding Griffin.
KD is just too tall and long for anyone else. I feel like he would kill anyone else. I haven't watched KD a lot but he doesn't seem nearly as crafty as people who have hurt Ayton like Harden and LaMelo.
I guess you can put Crowder on him but it does seem like Blake shoots 3s too and KD scores a lot inside anyway, and outrebounds Blake too.
REally? I mean KD is too good for anyone really but Bridges seems like he is tall and long enough. He has a very long wingspan. Also Craig would be a good guy. And you mentioned Crowder for physical play. I think the Suns have lots of guys to throw at him. The best thing to do with KD is stay with him and get your hands up. Ayton is NOT the right guy.

Yeah I'm with you. Rotate Bridges, Crowder, and Craig on him and make him shoot tough shots, not much more you can do against a guy like that. Ayton needs to make sure they don't get more than one shot.

I agree to stay with him and get hands up. I think Ayton can create some problems for him, though KD could take advantage too. Yes, Bridges has the 7'1 wingspan, but KD and Ayton has 7'5 wingspans. KD does not really have to alter shots at all against anyone, but might have to with a guy as big and long as Ayton in front of him.
I think Bridges has to be on Harden though. I do think Crowder will be the primary guy on KD. Bridges could play him if Harden is out...but Bridges is by far our best option for Harden.

With KD you just have to make him work and then just pray he misses. He's one of the greatest offensive players of all time for a reason.

Bucks were down 11 and looking ugly. Their offense finally took off and they came back. What a run

Kyrie injured. Looks like he landed on a foot and rolled it. Looked nasty

Harden definitely playing next game if Irving is a no go.

If Bucks can win this, they might have a chance of going up 3-2 and close it out in 6 or 7.
KD looks shooked.

Giannis early shot clock pull up 3 has to be the worst shot in the game lol

What erks me is there was a thread in the General board, a month ago, suggesting the Nets have the best bench in the NBA.
I won't say it's not good but no one, outside of maybe Green, would supplant anyone on our bench.

There's probably 1000's of posts on the bucks board from the past week saying this exact thing. Why the coaches allow or even why Giannis think they are a good idea is puzzling. It's basically a turnover.darealjuice wrote:Giannis early shot clock pull up 3 has to be the worst shot in the game lol

Looks like Nash, Amare, D'Antoni are having about as good of luck/misfortune winning a championship as they did in Phx.

Both will be tough but would rather take my chances with Utah. Rather not play against Khawi. Still think we can beat either

Is Amare part of their team? He doesn't show up on their roster or staff that I saw.
Never mind, did a better search, found it.
