I'll trade Westbrook for Lebron. :)

The refs surely wanted Philly to come back in the waning moments of that game. The Hawks were missing Hunter too.

Bizarre starting lineup for the Clipps last night against Utah. Batum was listed as their starting center. they also started Morris, George, and Leonard - with Reggie Jackson. Kennard had a very good shooting game. They still lost a close one by 3 - having no answer for Donovan Mitchell. George and Morris combined to go 8 for 31. This should be a very good series. LAC basically has to clamp down on Mitchell, and they can, because they have tremendous wing defenders, but... they didn't do it in game 1. If Mitchell explodes like this again, there's an internal problem for LAC, because the Clippers don't have any other really explosive offensive players except for 6th man Clarkson - who I would not expect to have a huge impact in the playoffs. Bogdanovic is really their #2 scorer, and Conley's injured.

I really feel like this is a good matchup for the Clippers on paper. Utah kills you with their system and all its screens and backcuts. The solution is to switch every screen, and the Clippers have the best personnel in the league for switching everything. They also have the capability of drawing Gobert out of the paint on defense. Heck, they never get to the rim anyhow, so Gobert's rim protection shouldn't be a big factor.

The Clippers can force Utah to play iso-ball. I don't think Mitchell will score 45 every night, and when he doesn't, Utah is going to struggle.

That was a tremendous game. I agree that this is a terrific matchup for the Clips. Should be a hard-fought series & a lot of fun to watch!

He's an underrated defender. I know he's done a very good job against Lebron over the years.

Seeing Giannis continue to shoot 3s leads me to think he’s got some
Russ style WTF to his game. Budz is powerless to stop him really.

I’m just rooting against BRK. Never got on the superteam bandwagon.
Not sure who can beat them though.

Shake Milton -- one of my favorite bargain draft calls -- taking it to Atlanta for the 2d game in a row.

The playoffs have been incredibly entertaining this year! Teams losing home court advantage then taking it back, fantastic performances from the big names, surprising step-ups from guys off the bench... really everything you could ask for.

Not to begrudge Joker from getting paid but I’m not sure Jamal Murray,
by himself, can address DEN’s backcourt inadequacies.

I just don't see it, that's all on Budenholzer, he's encouraging those shots.

One thing I wonder, how long before somebody with the Bucks organization addresses the elephant in the room and makes the decision to move Giannis to play center full time.

It seems to me like the Bucks would be a far more lethal team offensively if they took the ball out of Giannis hands in the half-court and let him do his damage strictly in transition, of cuts and second chance opportunities and as a roll threat.

It just doesn't compute that you would make somebody as limited as Giannis the center piece of your offense when you have Middleton and Holiday at guard.

Holiday/Middleton/Tucker/Portis/Giannis, that's a physically imposing lineup that can grind, score and defend.

Lopez averaging damn near 30 minutes per game in the playoffs is a joke to me.

IDK. I obviously don’t have special knowledge of their huddles but
if Giannis decides he wants to shoot 3s he’s not gonna get benched
for it. He’s going to play as many minutes as he can barring foul issues.

Just like Brooks was never going to bench Westbrook for going all WTF
on him.

My belief however unsupported by actual knowledge is that are
quite a few superstars who are free to treat coaches orders as
mere suggestions. Perhaps not all the time but at least situationally.

It looks like the Nets/Bucks is a series now if Net players keep getting injured. Kyrie out with an ankle injury and Blake Griffin didn't play at all in the 4th quarter.
