he's one of the fittest players in the sport, so its extra scary that it could happen to someone like him. wish him the best, one of my favorites

We had given him up for dead, 20 minutes lying on the field w/o a mobile ALS unit means death according to one of my buddies who happens to be a doctor by trade. Thankfully he was revived after being technically dead for several minutes, and he was provided with ALS on the spot and was intubated while on the field.
I really hope that no long-term issue will arise out of this, even if he stops playing professional football.

Saw a post about Fabrice Muamba whose heart stopped or 78 minutes about 8 years ago.
Inadequate perception I reckon it's from the Valium

Shakur Stevenson is the truth. I just want to see him matched up against a great opponent. I want to see him pressured so that he'll have a real opportunity to shine. Stevenson-Valdez would be spectacular.

He's super talented but I just wish he'd knock some of these "free fight" level guys out. He's gonna be a PPV guy soon and as entertaining as what made Floyd great for me, a lotta ppl didn't like it and he's no Floyd. Waiting to see what makes him special.
F*** Marc Davis, f*** Tim Donaghy and f*** David Stern as a staff, record label and as a mothaf**kin crew......and if you wanna be down with Stern then F*** YOU TOO!!! Stu Jackson f*** you too.....all you mothaf**kas F*** YOU TOO!!!!

Hell of an opening set between Tsitsipas and Djokovic. I was curious to see if Tsitsipas was going to be up to the challenge or not, and it sure appears he is. One of the struggles to this point in his young career, though, is consistency. So will be interesting to see how that holds up. But it has often appeared to be more match-to-match as opposed to set-to-set.

That escalated quickly. Still not counting out Novak.

Not sure I want to live in a world where Djokovic is the GOAT.

Unbelievable achievement by Djokovic. He's gonna finish his career as the GOAT ahead of Rafa and Roger.

He's in the process of ripping the GOAT title away from Roger and Rafa through sheer force of will, gotta respect it.

I've gotten twenty spam calls and 10 voicemails from the same fake "Apple Care" service in the last hour. All of them spoofing a local number. **** this ****.

I got one one time from someone claiming to be with Microsoft that there was a virus on my computer and they were calling to help me remove it. I was bored, so I went along with it for a bit - played it up too, thanking him a bunch of times for reaching out to help me, etc. He had me go to my computer, I told him it was a laptop so he had me open the screen and he asked me what I saw. I told him in a dead serious voice it was porn. Dead silence for a few seconds, then he said "um, what do you see?" Again, very matter of factly, I said porn. He stutters a bit and finally chokes out "Are you serious?" I said "yeah, do you watch porn? This one is great!" and go on to provide some fairly explicit details of what I was pretending to see on the screen, and after about 10 seconds of that he hung up. That was my entertainment for the day.

It's gotten so bad that I always have my phone on Do Not Disturb with Contact exceptions.

I resorted to the same. Still getting the voicemails, though. 15 in counting.
I've always gotten these fake calls, but generally it's - at most - a couple a day. Rarely a voicemail. Easy enough to ignore.
This is beyond anything I've experienced.

The videos where scammers try doing it to hackers, who then turn the tables on them are pretty good.

My brother was getting these a lot so finally started saying hold on when they asked for him by name then would put his phone down and walk away and leave them hanging forever. Eventually they started calling him with death threats and calling him bigoted names and he had to call the police.

Re: OT: General OT Thread [NO POLITICS OR RELIGION]
So a flashback to the spicy chicken discussion of last year.... I just had the new burger King spicy chicken sandwich and it was freaking delicious. The pickles are tasty sweet pickles and the chicken has a sweetness to it under the spice as well.
Basically, Popeyes was the top of the mountain as far as fast food chicken sandwiches go for me but BK is making a run at it. Plus they trolled chick-fil-a for being bigots so they get some bonus points.

I must've gotten a bad one. I threw half of it out..
Although I despise sweet pickles. Don't understand them at all. And I didn't realize they were sweet when I ordered the sandwich.

Seriously. What is a "tasty sweet pickle"
