He would have been booted anyway. Tech + Flagrant 1 (tech) = ejected.

that's not the rule.

CP3 is 6/6(?) in the quarter. I know he was at 5/5 for 10 points but I think he made another after that. Joker is tilted as fuuuuu right now and just took a hard swipe at the ball and hit Cam Payne's nose. He and Booker got into it for a double tech, and they are reviewing his foul which will probably be a Flagrant 1.

This game and series would probably be won by the Nuggets if not for that ejection call.

Just watched the streamable link. Yeah, it's a foul, but thrown out of the game. Give me a break. WTF?

I think he realizes that now.
He showed sportsmanship by walking up to Payne before he left the court.

Omg that’s the worst ejection I’ve ever seen.

The league just proved it’s really really that soft?

Going for the ball and accidentally grazes a nose?

And you eject him?

Wow.

Definitely not Lebron

Thats what I’m wondering. If Curry, Lebron, Durant are thrown out in a critical/close game(whether justly so or not)the media heads would go after the refs full force the next day. I have a feeling nobody tomorrow is going to care that Jokic got thrown out or devote an entire segment to it.

It was very close to a flagrant 2 but I still think it was stupid to give him that in an elimination game as the MVP, at home in front of a rowdy recently pandemic released crowd. You are unnecessarily setup problems when it wasn’t clearly called for.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

A little hit? Lmao. Bro you're biased AF.

You're not? It wasn't that bad, obviously Jokic should have gotten the flagrant. It wasn't painful enough to moan on the ground for minutes. I'm the neutral one here I'm not a Suns or Nuggets fan. Just find the soccer fake injury acts annoying.

I don't think Jokic should have been ejected in a game like this, however you are underselling the hit. A guy that size winding up and having his huge forearm comedown and across your nose would hurt like hell. Depending on the hit could rattle your head a bit, eyes water, could break a nose. You act like Jokic kissed him on the cheek.

:D yup.

Nuggets were saving their midrange defense for the 4th quarter and the next 3 games to really surprise the Suns

Karl Malone intentionally elbowed Isiah Thomas in the forehead requiring him to need 47 stitches on his head, hospitalized, and missed two games. I think it was a common foul

He would tho, Jokic fouled Payne with anger and hit him in the face with a full strength, even if unintentionally, that's a definition of ''unnecessary and excessive contact committed by a player against an opponent''. There was no option for another call.

Lol "full strength." Cam Payne's face looked the same and wasn't rearranged. Pretty sure there would be blood and/or bruising if Jokic used full strength.
