In all seriousness the responsibility for the PNR defense is collective.

The guards are dying on every screen, so Jokic is often stuck in space guarding two players at once.

That's like the Knicks PNR defense where Noel or Mitch had to guard two offensive players because Payton was stuck behind the action.

But Jokic needs to put more effort into contesting shots by CP3 when he does pull up.

Let's just not underestimate the impact of the guards defense. The Nuggets did a much better job containing the PNR with Gary Harris.

Don’t go out like this making excuses for his 1% effort on defense

Well Mitch got hurt early so I'm really referring to Noel and Taj.

The Denver guards are dying on screens (solid ones by Ayton to be fair) so they're leaving Jokic exposed. Granted, Jokic isn't the best at defending in space (to say the least) so I'm definitely not comparing him to Mitch as a defender but the defense collapses before the Suns even put him in that position. It's quite similar to the Knicks PNR defense with Payton. Denver were able to make it work with Harris.

Cam Payne had a solid season. He’s using his speed and producing during his minutes. I use to think he provided nothing but dancing.

Chris Paul has found the perfect team for his talents. They are fast, run, and gun. He runs the show, and doesn't have to kill himself. He's such a great fit that his shooting is even better and he has energy for an occasional athletic play. He's definitely staying where he is.

You don't think Randle shooting 29.8% in the playoffs is enticing enough

I think with Chris Paul, Randle would shoot a lot better in the playoffs. But I doubt the Knicks as a team are a good as Denver, so he's staying put after this incredible run.

I think the flagrant 2 also comes from his reaction to Booker approaching him. His frame as a 7'0 bear turned against him this time as well. If the roles were reversed, Payne would've never gotten ejected. But that's life as the biggest guy in the room.

It was evident Jok wanted the smoke with the swipe and then the mini-altercation.

Head wasn't in the game for a split second.
