Now i'm starting to wonder if maybe the suns should've let them live one more game......Cause now they have a lot of time off especially if Utah/Clippers go 7....That said though Suns are peaking at the perfect time

I think you finish a team in the playoffs as soon as you can. Gives CP3 an extra week to get healthier. If Clips/Jazz goes 7, they'll be exhausted.

Regular season, I think it's bad to have overly long breaks between games, but you get up for the playoffs, especially when well-rested.

lol oh please, that was an Oscar worthy performance for the ages. At worst, Jokic swiped him across the nose and his nose didn't break.

Either Payne is one of the weakest players in the league or it was acting.

Every NBA falls to the floor on jump shots. Lebron falls to the ground on a free throw. May have been exaggerated but that's the NBA. Welcome.

But it's a 290lb guys arm hitting a 190lb guy in the face/nose. The INTENT was the reason why he was ejected, do I agree that should be the type of foul in a playoff game, let alone in an elimination game? No. But that's the rule. It was an EASY Flagrant 1

Except the intent wasn't to hit him in the face... it was to go for the ball. As it was clearly shown on the replay. He got way more ball than face.

Props to Cam Payne for recognizing it and acting like he got his jaw broken by Mike Tyson that certainly sold it.

You can argue intent either way, but bottom line is intent isn't a criteria for a Flagrant foul.

Just give it up man, Payne could have died on that court.

You're a troll. Nobody is saying anything like that. Simply responding to people acting as if Payne wasn't hit and it wasn't a big deal.

Not going to lie. Flag 2 was harsh for Jokic. I thought it would warrant a Flag 1 at most.

Feel sorry for Jokic.

I like Denver, play the right way. You guys will be a force next year with Jamal.

Cp3 inside game would be nullified by the Jazz. I like his chances against the Clips

Inside game?

What about the mid range he loves to shoot when bigs drop?

His play is what's keeping him in the NBA right now. He's been great.

I don't deny that, but that was definitely the best play of the series for him  Played more than a few basketball games back in my day, broke my nose playing ball once, saw others get hit in the nose too, and I never kept lying on the floor, it doesn't make sense to do that if you're hit in the nose, you just get up and try to figure out how bad it is while standing or sitting. Unless you're a little bitch with an agenda like Payne(:

Were you ever hit in the face by a 7’0 290 lb man making a full wind up?

You guys act like he went all Mike Tyson on him. Believe me if Jokic wanted to punch the guy then his face would look like the Mountain vs. the Viper if you get the idea. Grazed him, thats it. They did not check for concussion. You think if what you wrote actually happened they would have let him play on?

CP3 and Harden made Jazz sit Rudy Gobert in the playoffs while they were attacking him every possession so i don't see that to be a problem.
That said, JAzz are great team and it will be very hard series if they meet and epic one for sure..

That wasn’t a graze. Payne has an agenda, and it’s to win. And his team just swept the Nugs and sent the “MVP” back to Serbia.

Jokic has a temper problem. Just more evidence of it. Maybe he needs to go to counseling?, who knows. I hope he gets the help he needs.

First flagrant of his career and now he has a temper problem and needs counseling? He even apologized to Cam as he was walking off the court.

Some of these hot takes...

He loses his temper and fouls people all the time. Its not some uncommon occurrence for him to make similar plays.
