Crazy thought... Nash, Amare, D'Antoni could still be the ones that help gift the Suns a championship in a way.

I'd be a little worried KD would put Ayton on skates. Ayton's a good defender, but he tends to sink a little bit defending the perimeter and you can't give KD an inch. Nothing wrong with giving him more opportunity to protect the rim off-ball by guarding Griffin.
KD is just too tall and long for anyone else. I feel like he would kill anyone else. I haven't watched KD a lot but he doesn't seem nearly as crafty as people who have hurt Ayton like Harden and LaMelo.
I guess you can put Crowder on him but it does seem like Blake shoots 3s too and KD scores a lot inside anyway, and outrebounds Blake too.
REally? I mean KD is too good for anyone really but Bridges seems like he is tall and long enough. He has a very long wingspan. Also Craig would be a good guy. And you mentioned Crowder for physical play. I think the Suns have lots of guys to throw at him. The best thing to do with KD is stay with him and get your hands up. Ayton is NOT the right guy.

I think the problem you'll run into is if you're getting Book, Crowder or Ayton switched onto Kyrie and Harden. Those are matchups we lose. KD isn't the player I'm worried about, Mikal, Craig and Crowder can all have a run at him and make it tough.
But what happens if Brooklyn is having KD screen for Kyrie to get Crowder on Kyrie and Paul on Durant?

Also I hate when a player takes a bad shot (sometimes just throwing it up) because they think they can get touched or were already touched because it has become the norm, and then when a foul isn't called it just results in a bad shot. Booker does this a bit, and I hate it, not because I blame him since it's the norm and players should take advantage of rules, but they just need to change the rules so players don't do this. I'd rather see good shots and if you get fouled, then get to the line.

Agree, however, they also need to continue to call fouls when players do their natural motions even if that means their legs kick out like Crowder or when any player shoots a fadeaway and their legs naturally kick out.

Will that actually help much? Guys like Luka, Trae, Harden are magicians who will find ways to get to the line. What's frustrating is the RS calls isn't consistent with playoff call, Harden heads to ft line around 15 times in RS but numbers drop in the playoffs. I wish nba was more consistent but it isn't the case. We'll see what this rule change brings as anything to limit start players from heading more to the line is a success.

Nerlens Noel getting 1 2nd place vote despite playing 24mpg is also confusing. Overall I don't really have an issue with the two teams but yeah Ayton not getting an votes is a odd

Suns Clippers would be a very chippy series.

If we play the Clips, and I have a feeling we will, I hope he doesn't get hot. They shot over 41% from 3 this season..by far the best in the NBA, so we have to slow them down. Dallas and Utah shot phenomenally against them but they are withstanding it pretty good. They were the one team I feared coming into the playoffs, though we are playing a lot better than I expected. That would be a very tough series though. Utah would be tough but I think the Clippers would be a completely different beast.
