They just wanted to make it more competitive but they **** it for sure..Nets big 3 would have been huge for the ratings. There is no going back now. They will now do everyting to ensure it is Bucks vs Clippers final. If it really turns out that way, I hope Leonard smashes Giannis.

I just went back and watched the play again. Giannis comes in and puts his foot under Irving. I get it Giannis was coming in for the rebound. But outside the pain this is a flagrant foul

Again, the fact that Giannis walked off of that floor without a scratch is infuriating.

Our message to Milwaukee in the aftermath of Kyrie's injury couldn't have been clearer, the silence from the rest of the Nets was deafening. Inaction was our action, and it's a reflection of our coach.

You think PJ and their other goons had the green light to commit felony assault on Kevin before game 4? He's gonna leave on a stretcher if we don't hit first and set the tone of physicality.

Just like in baseball or hockey, let the players self police and administer their own justice. Make the officials prove that they are even handed, we only need the green light from our leadership.

People say it couldn't be dirty because he was looking at the rebound... the first thing you learn about executing and getting away with dirty plays is to not stare in the direction of your intent. As others have mentioned, for Giannis to plant his foot across Kyrie's entire body so much that he sprains his OUTSIDE ankle, says all you need to know. That's not a basketball move.

Win or lose, I want to see us stand up for ourselves in game 5. I don't care if our roleplayers go ice cold again, they all need to be willing to catch a flagrant 2, to make sure they don't punk us in our own building. When they know you're not willing to fight back, they feel emboldened to go malicious, as evidenced.

I disagree, and I plan to expound whenever someone creates a game thread. Basically, IF we initiate physical contact and get to the FT line consistently, we will outscore them. We won't need to win a shootout in the 120's IF we're the aggressors, they won't get to 90.

Lol you guys are pathetic. There was nothing dirty about Giannis' play. He has extremely long/lanky legs and he moved into position for a rebound. Had he gotten there half a second later Kyrie would've landed fine. He's looking at the ball the entire time. There's absolutely zero intent to injure. Definitely not a flagrant. Just an unfortunate incident. Also...Giannis is a foot inside the circle. Do you want the NBA to change the rules so that no one is allowed to move/position for a rebound until the player attacking the basket has landed? What a fun league that would be. Guess you have to assign flagrants to all the moving blocks Giannis got called for a charge on as well, since they are intentionally moving into his space with the intent of knocking him down.

For those that want to objectively give Giannis a retroactive flagrant 1, remind yourselves that you then need to give Joe Harris a retroactive flagrant 2 and suspend him from game 5 for his foul on Pat Connaughton.

KD, Harden, and Kyrie played what? 8 games together during the regular season? If you thought they'd magically all remain healthy throughout the playoffs you were kidding yourselves. Team is fragile. PJ living rent free in Durant's head right now.

It's understandable for fans of opposing teams to view the results of an unfortunate injury differently. Both sides can be impassioned by their support of their team and view what happened in a way that places the bulk of the blame on the opposition or at least exonerates their own team's players from culpability.

If you went on the Bucks board and called the Nets board "pathetic", you'd be fine. But coming to the Nets board to with the intention of not just providing an outside perspective, but more to troll is where lines get crossed.

Let this stand as a warning.

Feel free to provide an outsider's perspective. We can be a pretty open group even when things aren't going our way. But we won't tolerate needless personal attacks and/or trolling.
