Looked like he had some choice words in Serbian for someone on the Macedonia team.

Guess I was right.

Weird guy, has always been kind of a hot head. Was either crap or incandescent in his Premier League days. Mostly crap, to be honest.

Shame to see this kind of thing.

That was pretty sick yeah.

Quite a lot of teams seem to have goalkeeper issues.

Spain look so average. I'm sure they will pick up during the tournament, but Sweden should be winning here.

Forget what I said, Spain have turned it on in the last 20 mins. Great save by Olsen.

86% possession vs 14%... I have never seen such discrepancy in major tournament.

LOL Spain.

This Spanish side reminds me so much of pre-Scolari Portugal.

It's all coming back to me. A striker-less lineup relying on continuous and permanent offensive flow to generate chances. Not goals. Just chances.

Very reminiscent of Portugal from the 96-2002 era, where we'd lineup with Figo, Rui Costa, João Pinto, Sérgio Conceição, Simão Sabrosa, and sometimes even Nuno Capucho or Pedro Barbosa. A wealth of playmakers but zero finishers. Beautiful, sweet, inefficient, and losing-when-it-matters-most soccer.

Luis Enrique is in for a tough summer.

It was surely a goalkeeper mistake.

There was no reason whatsoever for the keeper to continue camping at the center line as soon as his team had taken the corner.
Have to expect turnovers from your own team.

Doesn't mean anything if you can't score.

I only watched the Scotland match and they did okay for a third rate nation on another day they could have got a win with the same performance. They were stupid to not start their best striker Che Adams but that's all down to crazy nationalism. Either play English guys or don't select them for your Scottish squads. Scotland have a good midfield but their defence is average and their attack poor. That motherwell defender was quite funny. As for the second goal is was a great goal. how many times does it look easy to do that but so few footballers actually score. Was the GK at fault? I think he should never have been so high up the pitch but the shot was perfect. I guess that means he was at fault but then again he really isn't a top line GK either is he?

Löw will start Gündogan and Kroos in midfield instead of Kimmich who will be RB.

Loss confirmed before the game actually started.
