Hello Brooklyn wrote:Yeah I'm with Prok on this one. Defense has been awesome.

The first road game nobody could hit a shot. The second one I thought the offense was looking good in the first half. But team felt demoralized after Kyrie injury and had no game plan.

If we get hot from 3, its our best chance to win. Need Shamet, Harris, Green etc. to hit their wide open shots. Its the only way.

Another thing to consider.... our offense making shots drastically helps our defense, since Giannis is better in transition. Game 4 was the first game we turned it over 10+ times (17) and was also giannis best game and maybe the bucks best offensively

threes fall more in transition too

so our offense being good will also help the D.

For those who didn’t get what happened: Harden has basically pressured the performance staff to let him suit up.

I’m pretty sure he was good to go for Game 4 but we didn’t want to throw him out there without conditioning work. Harden said F that. I want to play.

IF Harden actually plays, I'm hoping we keep his mins in check. Lean heavily on KD and the role players.

Honestly the best part of Harden playing is that he really empowers the role guys. They all get better looks because of James. Id be fine if he's mainly a decoy and set up everyone.

Hardens passing ability alone makes us 1000x better. I don't know if he will have his normal offensive shot creating ability. But offense is going to flow way better than with Mike James.

Yup... I think if we all had to choose Harden vs. Kyrie we choose harden. Especially an injured kyrie vs injured harden since as you said, he is a hub for everyone else

i just hope he can not re aggrivate it. even if its 24 mpg the rest of this series at 75% thats enormous.

And the 1 thing Kyrie has over Harden, KD provides... and thats go to clutch iso scoring... and even the harden is great at that too

Two things I'm fearful of
1. Starting lineup
2. Overplaying Harden if played

Honorable mention is overlaying Durant and playing him in that Harden/LeBron role

Oh god... I mean... oh freaking God....

Durant has hammy issues???

Maybe don't run his ass for 60 mins straight!!!!

Delete this post. That's an injury report from earlier in the year. Bad karma for ND to even put it up.

Windrem is a **** ing tool for even doing this.

Lol... I know you hate Windrem with a passion (I'm still on the fence I guess, because I respect his years of contributions, but not so much his arrogant, sourpuss attitude), but thing is... ND is mainly run by other people these days. Young sports interns, no?

Like, you get used to a young writer for a couple years, see him develop in front of your eyes, and then he's gone soon enough. An endless cycle it seems, which isn't quite as depressing as our favorite players moving away from the Nets, but it's not totally unrelated IMO. Bums me out really, but I remain just a peon, yeah.

.

On another note-- Nooooo...! JAMES, or BEARD (however you please) please DON'T fluffing force yourself to play tonight if you're not... myeah... 95%+, dude! Because hammies are one of the worst, most elusive injuries to heal, and if we only buy you two more days at the very least, we just have to trust KD and the boys.

Because I fear we're just -not- going to get anywhere if our team MVP comes back too soon, then is lost for the rest of the playoffs.

Trust the fans, trust Barclays, trust our depth, trust KD, trust our elite coaching staff... I feel like we're going to win this one for you, Beard, so that you can rest a few more days at the very least. <3

Anyway, I think that nicely sums up Gigantes' bloviation for the day. :D

I'm not mistaken, he still runs the ND twitter.

If Harden is able to keep his hamstring in one piece, we are going to breath fire tonight

if harden can play 30+ minutes my confidence goes from defintely losing this series to definitely winning.

even if we lose tonight to go down 3-2 if hardens healthy the next 3 games and doesnt tweak the hammy we win

On offense. What about defense? If he doesn’t play hard on d he might as well not be out there. It could be a major problem tonight.
