Bucks need to trade or draft a guy whos particularly skilled at scoring or they may not get a ship in this limited window span

they can't, they went all in on jrue. giannis gonna ask out at some point now. maybe to golden state for wiseman and a bunch of picks this summer even.

if Milwaukee loses you just can't run it back...its over at that point. Giannis is who he is. Curry/Klay would be perfect for him. Bucks are stuck now.

he was rumored to want to go there before he extended. it's probably the backup plan he always had.

its interesting because its honestly on him to be better. Sure he puts up #'s but he clearly can't close...and for being a multiple time MVP he has to be able to close or at least take the assignment to guard KD.

He probably would be the best Robin of all time...but he's a Robin.

The only way the Bucks can build around Giannis is to make him center, and get 2 more people who can at least attack a closeout.

middelton and jrue still aren't closers though. Giannis is a center I agree. But they still have spacing next to giannis most of the game.

He needs to be a souped up Ben Simmons/Draymond Green but they at least take the defensive matchup. Giannis out there guarding Joe Harris... :nonono:

giannis is really just a microcosm of this knicks season, good in the regular season because he plays hard, but not talented enough to win in the playoffs

i don't see how they fix this. not enough left to trade and nobody really wants to be in milwaukee either.

He is only winning a chip if he plays with a Curry/Lillard type...that isn't happening. So its essentially over.

There seems to be a changing of the guard in terms of coaching.

These old heads are getting outcoached something serious in these playoffs. It's staggering to see Budenholzer or Thibodeau refuse to adjust completely. They're old and stubborn, and religiously attached to ideas even when they're clearly not working.

These younger coaches like Williams, Lue and Nash are much more flexible, and are not afraid to make bold decisions.

I find the contrast to be quite incredible. Unfortunately, it seems like we're stuck with the former.

The fact that a rookie coach felt he could put James Harden on this man down the stretch of a must win game tells you everything you need to know about just how little they respect Giannis.

You don't like Brook Lopez making plays and chasing guys on the perimeter on defense?

It wouldn't even be as egregious if it wasn't clearly a product of him being completely shook by what KD and Kyrie did to him earlier in the series. It would still be soft but this is pitiful. The man is terrified of KD and actually showing it.
