The Bucks should all yell at Giannis anytime he takes a 3 anytime that isn't when the shot clock is running out.

Can't believe the Bucks choked that opportunity away. Harden was 1-10 and barely capable of guarding the perimeter. KD was otherworldly, one of the best performances I've ever seen. He played all 48 minutes.

Would have been nice if he played that way when he was with the Thunder up 3-1 against the Warriors.

Bud not putting Giannis on KD when he got hot was ridiculous. He's earning the firing that's coming next week.

He needs to be. The Nets were the 23rd best defense this year and the Bucks are averaging under 100 points against them. Even the Celtics were able to put up points with Brown out and Kemba hurt.

He was amazing.

And props to Harden for playing 46 minutes.

Do you feel bad for Nash/Dantoni? No matter who they have they always fall short with injuries or better team in front of them.
No, injuries are part of the game. Dantoni often failed to develop his bench and didn't use players well to save other players, For example, after the hip check suspension game, we were beating SA handily, and Shawn was our best offensive player. Instead of using Banks on Frenchie, he put Shawn on him, which used too much of his energy.

I can't believe the Nets won tonight, but KD can't play every minute of a game. Harden playing 46 minutes on his first game back was crazy too. Will they have enough to beat the Bucks and the next opponent? I just don't think so.

Why would he not put Giannis on KD? I haven't watched much of the series, but I figured he would be the primary defender on him. You don't have an offensive player like KD and not use one of the best defensive players in the NBA against him. If not now, when?

I mean I get maybe worrying about fouls or expending energy but these guys are super athletes as far as energy goes probably with a lot of adrenaline flowing. As far as fouls, if it becomes a problem, then assess.

I got a chance to watch the Nets beat the Bucks tonight and boy oh boy, does Giannis have some major flaws. Totally choked down the stretch, just like Embiid. Kid can't hit anything more than 4 feet away from the bucket. Yeesh. They ain't contenders.

Of course I was really watching to see what the Nets are made of. They're still not at full strength, but regardless, I think we can beat that team. They can't execute in the half court and rely on their stars to bail them out. Of course, we can't put Bridges on all of them, and Crowder will get in foul trouble guarding Durant and Harden. But if we can make them a half court team, I really like our chances.

At this point I think I fear the Clips the most - or the Jazz, if they can get past them, because that would really show me something.

I'd rank the remaining teams like in terms of most dangerous/highest ceiling: Nets, Clips, Jazz, Bucks, Sixers, Hawks

We’re still thinking Bucks in 7 right?

We need Brooklyn gone.

We haven't been able to beat them either with solo Harden or solo Irving with half Durant.

Yup. I've always said that he is the 2.0 version of Orlando Shaq. Very athletic, dominant phisically - can't really play fundamentaly solid basketball, as he can only score when his wrist is in the rim before the ball.

I assume it's fouls, and Giannis picks up his fair share on both ends but for **** sake you have to try it when KD is that hot. Middleton should have spent some time on him too.

For some reason they also just stop running offense for stretches and iso or just hoist 3s.

Bud is a bad playoff coach, it's pretty clear after years of evidence. He should go to someplace like Orlando where he can raise the floor but theres a ceiling with him.

Also Holliday is a really good player but dudes not a PG.
