Moody would be a very straightforward pick. No second guessing that decision because you know he will fit well being a quiet, tough and focused kid. Also, he was already seen in Raptor's gear so he might be hoping for us to draft him. I wouldn't be upset if we drafted him at 6.

His prospect videos are actually really good. Gives good examples of specific strengths and weaknesses.

One underrated thing about the NBA Combine is that Roko Prkacin is going to be there. Not many euros ever go - especially with all the NT activity lately, so you can tell this guy wants to make an impression.

;ab_channel=BalkanProspects

He is my Poku pick this year. He could bust or be the best thing ever. A guy with his height, handle and confidence could be dangerous or be the next Mario Hezonija.

Man I'm so glad about the lottery happening in a week. Tired of talking about guys when we don't even know where we'll be picking.

So they like James Bouknight for Toronto. If they think he can be a primary scorer then Toronto has to bite on that. I'm less confident in him because he tailed off a lot as the schedule got tougher, but he does have a swag to him and he can get pretty hot as a three level scorer. I just wonder how different he is from Jalen Harris.

Bouk is 6'5 with about a 6'8 wingspan and about 190 lbs
Harris is 6'5 with about 6'7 wingspan and about 195 lbs

I checked the player comparison tool and Harris was better than Bouknight in most of the categories. I just trust Harris more as a shooter.

We have a long way to go until the actual draft - July 29. I mean if we get a top four pick the conversation is pretty easy, but 6-10 we have a wide range of options.

I want to see how these guys do with the combine, pro days, and the workouts. The fun is just starting.

At least it isn't like the 5 month wait for the draft last year. That was a slog.

There's a lot of guys i wouldnt mind at our pick, but im all in on Scottie Barnes. You cant teach his athleticism and tenacity. He's a legit jumpshot away from being special (and not even an off the dribble jumper, just set ones). Seeing what the Raps have done with Siakam and OG's jumpers, i think you gotta bet on the development team with Barnes

im also feeling pretty good about Moses Moody and agree with the guy in the vid. I'd legit consider him over Kuminga

U mean other than Sengun literally playing meaningful basketball games against canada and Nurse for Olympic qualifiers, right?

I didn't know he was playing in the Olympics

Really torn over Keon Johnson. He's a freak athlete, relatively new to the game but he also had more turnovers than assists while shooting > 30% on less than 3 pta per game....in college. However D-Wade didn't really have a 3pt shot and was 1:1 to:asst player as a freshman as well...so who knows.

You’re right on the top 5. If land 2-4, we will take one of Green/Suggs/Mobley (Cade guaranteed #1).

The 7-8 slot to me becomes clearer each day. i think if Sengun measures well, he will be in the conversation. But Barnes / Keon / and bottom of list - Mitchell.

We are taking a guy who has potential to be a 2 way force. And the defense / motor has to be there. All of our picks reflect this.

Evan Mobley makes so much sense on paper if the Raptors move up to #2 so why am I still so worried that we’d be missing out on something special in Jalen Green?

Kind of random but nicely explained going back to front. Bouknight's fadeaway looks Kobe-like. Pure finesse player. if Kuminga fell to us it would be OG basketball God's all over again.

The more think about shot creation and closing out games I am not sure who I like for that in absolute terms but I know that is the home run for our team. A closer finisher who creates for themselves and others in a elite way with two ability.

Here's my question. What attributes will that player have that Norman Powell didn't already give us? A cheaper, controlled salary for the next five seasons. Is that it?

How many legit shot creators do we think are in this draft (and that Nurse would turn an blind eye a little on the defense)

its only Cade, Green, Suggs. That’s it.

Thats why staying at 7/8, we might as well grab a defensive guy and then groom their offensive games like we did with OG, Norm, and Siakam.

Random thought, but I hate when people question a big man prospect's defensive abilities based on if they can potentially guard Embiid. Nobody can stop him 1-on-1 when he's on his game (except Gasol) lol
