Same. I don't get how people are so high on Philly when Ben Simmons is a liability at the end of games.

And Embiid is a sicknote.

I would give my right testicle to add Simmons to Zach and Vuc.

We'll get much better with him, but come playoff time, he's a liability at the end of games.

He refuses to shoot, teams ignore him leading to 4 on 5 offense and he's a terrible FT shooter.

I don’t really care that much about that. A team properly constructed can win a title with Simmons.

Agreed. There can be at least one player like Simmons on a team, and still have success and be a championship team.

You add him to this team, man, he would turn a team in the lottery currently to a legit championship contender immediately. He is as perfect of a player as it gets in terms of fit, who isn't a bonafide superstar.

I don't get how you came to that conclusion.

Simmons definitely makes us better, but you're going on about him as if he's Lebron 2.0

Do you think the Sixers are poorly constructed though?

They're constructed pretty well.

No, as I stated, I don't consider him a superstar, but he brings All-NBA defense, and is one of the best finishers and playmakers in the game, something that this team desperately needs. You're basically adding an All-Star, to two other All-Stars currently on the roster. Depending on how the rest of the roster is filled out around those three, I can't see how they don't become a top 3 team in the Eastern conference, and depending on some luck and further development of some of our younger players, they could potentially be a championship contending team.

Embid and Simmons don't really fit that well. They really should have moved Simmons for Harden. Both teams would have been better. I think you've got to run the offense through Simmons. And even then, I don't see him as a superstar.

How can you run your offense through a guy that refuses to shoot at times though?

Seems unnecessary.

Agree re: Harden, but I don't think Houston wanted to deal with Morey.

If Ben Simmons is ever on a title winner, it'll be despite him, not because of him.

He's got to be the primary creator with shooters around him. Even then, I don't think that's a contending team but a solid playoff team. The 76ers do and should run their offense through embid.

If they lose to Atlanta in this series, someone certainly will be traded in the offseason,

3P shooting + speed > supersize + defense

#recycledthoughts

But this Hawks team isn't surprising me. They were my deep call of the year. Their rough start was more anomaly; their packed off-season was insane, considering their very strong draft core. If they had a few more healthy bodies (Hunter particularly) I really think they could've taken down this bruised up Nets team. Frankly I think they have a very good chance against the Bucks.

If they don't make it out of the east, someone should be traded. I think Simmons is that logical piece.

Simmons 4-14 from the FT line.

Sixers should have traded him a long time ago.

We can try, but Morey will probably ask for Lavine.
