Clips have to feel fortunate to only be down 5, with all those threes Utah are hitting.

It's crazy how this Utah team can get hot from 3.

And yet the game is still close. That's the problem with Utah. Our system on the other hand is sustainable.

Well duh Booker is empty stats remember?

Btw… we rooting for Clippers now if Kawhi is out? Home court advantage will be nice.

Yeah, Clippers would be a better matchup I think although it would certainly feel weird to play against another team without one of their main guys.

If we can't beat the Clippers without Kawhi we don't deserve anything. Course we could be missing Paul for a bunch of games too. I really don't know who is more important to their team. Kawhi is the better player at this stage of their careers, but Paul is so important with his leadership etc, in addition to his play.

And Paul can't even be on the sidelines. Watching this game, both teams will be tough.

I still don't fear Utah. Never have. They are absolutely clueless when the three isn't going for them.

Well I don't fear either team. If we are playing team ball on offense and defense, and attacking the rim, we can beat anyone.

I still fear Lakers even though they are long eliminated.

I'd just hate to lose the home games with CP3 likely out. Though I think we would have a decent chance of beating them without CP3 if Kawhi wasn't playing.

Either team will be tough even with Chris Paul, but if he misses 3-4 games I don't see us taking it. If only one or two there is a chance, especially if we can somehow take one.

If we get Clippers it is actually more important that we get CP3 back before game 1. Losing at home hurts more than losing on the road.

Yes, that is what I said before but with Kawhi out I think we could probably take the Clippers if they win one game on our home floor. Hopefully their series goes to game 7 on Sunday though because the earliest Paul could be back is Monday, and that's if he got a negative test tomorrow. Though I guess maybe if he tested negative tomorrow and Friday he could potentially do is Cardiac test on the same day as his 2nd negative test on Friday and the second test Sunday and play that day, but that's probably a stretch.

But I think realistically the best we can probably hope for is a couple negative tests by the weekend or early next week and then he would be ready by Thursday or Friday to play in game 3 or 4. I just hope our game 1 is Tuesday and not Sunday.

Watching these playoffs, I just have to say that I'm GLAD we have the players we have. Seeing Simmons shoot 4 of 14 from the line, Gobert not being able to guard out in the perimeter...these guys are just so exploitable in the playoffs. Even Booker these days isn't bad on defense and with a solid defensive anchor behind him, can play solid D. Ayton is comfortable on switch defenses, likewise with Bridges and EVERYONE can shoot FT's.

If Kawhi is out, with Clippers starting the series slow and PG13 prone to laying an egg in games, I would prefer we face them. Obviously after they play two more games.
