This is more of an offseason hypothetical obviously. But in discussing trades involving Saric ( if he doesn't drastically improve his consistency) and continues to struggle.
There have been at least 3 teams showing interest in acquiring him via trade:
Would you consider any of these three trades this offseason?
1-
Phoenix/ Dallas.
Saric for Kleber. Or perhaps even Saric and 29th pick for Kleber and Tyrell Terry.
2-
Phoenix/ Boston.
Saric for Thompson and the 45th pick. ( We keep the 29th pick as well.
3-
Phoenix/ Toronto ( 2 variations).
A- Saric for Baynes and the 46th pick.
B- Saric for Hood and the 46th pick.
** Any of Thompson/ Hood/ Baynes contracts are also only two yrs to Sarics' 3 yrs. So they'd conveniently expire the same time as Paul's contract expires, And both Aytons' and Bridges extensions come due! Additionally, We could use those picks to address our needs at backup guard and backup center on really cheap cost controlled contracts ( 4 yrs). This would allow us greater cap flexibility to devote to our core starters! And any of Kleber,
Thompson or Baynes would address our rebounding and post defensive issues in comparison to Saric. And Hood alternatively could add a skilled veteran shot creator with size.
