So Nash even says I want us to play with more pace in the halfcourt set and yet it’s clear as day that we don’t do it.

Something is clearly not syncing.

The Bucks are destroying our switching defense. They are getting repeated easy paint looks off mismatches.

Will our staff adjust or keep letting the Bucks abuse us? Think we know the answer.

I think you need to understand the circumstances and realize that a) Bucks are not allowing us to play at the pace that we want, and b) Harden being hobbled/pressured full court means that our offense becomes naturally slow.

It’s an 11 point game, not insurmountable at all. But we need to shore up our defense, they’re getting whatever they want right now.

Forget about the fact that he made the shot. What’s most important is that he took a high quality shot that was created off of action that is easily anticipated.

Role players play well off of a healthy Harden because the second he gets around his defender you can expect a pass into your shooting pocket and all you need to do is get into your patented shooting form and take the shot.

If we can’t rely upon Harden’s ability to create for others, you have to use sets to get everyone into that rhythm so they no where to be and can anticipate the action on offense.

Without that, we get this garbage offense.
