Saddiq Bey made 1st team all-nba rookie team and Stewart made 2nd team all-nba rookie team.

Great to see the respect from nba coaches. We got 2 good two way players. Future is bright! Nice job Weaver!

Both well deserved- happy that they got the recognition they deserved.

Sad fact: this marks the first time in 8 years, despite being pretty bad in that stretch, that we had anyone make an all rookie team.

Sadder fact: That player was Kyle Singler. Before him was Brandon Knight.

Here’s hoping this marks the start of a new and better trend.

Thankfully that isn't the case. Both Stew and Bey are much more well-rounded players than either Knight or Singler.

Hopefully all our rookies become close and are working out together to improve this offseason. I can't wait to see what they do in summer league, Preseason, and their Sophomore years. I think having chemistry on a young team like this is huge. Guy's not coming in upset that others are getting recognition(like Bey winning player of the week), but happy to help build each other up and make each other better. Also Jerami Grant has improved each year in the NBA so whatever he does each offseason it might be good for him to share some of that with the rookies.
