- You got rid of little Kemba with the gimpy knee on one of the worst contracts in the league.
- Brought back a solid veteran big man, who was a great mentor for this team, as admitted by your stars in Tatum & Brown.
- Additionally acquired a 7'2", 21-year-old big man, who destroyed us in head-to-head competition previously.
- Along with saving a decent amount of cap money that now leads to an increased flexibility in the trade market.
- Plus, Yam Mader is essentially our first round pick this year anyway....and he looks pretty good.
This trade was a win for Brad.
Let's not get too excited about Yam, he's playing in a league I didn't even know existed lol.
He looks really good though
I'm totally comfortable going into next season with Pritchard, Madar and X as our point guards. X would be either Smart or we possibly trade Smart and acquire a different PG via trade or free agency, IDK, someone like Rubio, Ball or someone else..
I am high on Madar. I think he could turn into a really special player. 40% shooter from 3, has 3 years experience playing professionally overseas, would instantly become one of the 10 best defensive PGs in the league, good play maker, very quick, good size at 6'3", etc.
I figure either Smart or X is your starting PG and you have Pritchard and Madar compete for mins at the backup PG spot..
