I remember similar poll where the worst contract at the time was considered Chris Paul. Also Westbrook bounced back from being "favourite" to win this category a year ago or so.

Based on Realgm posting history, after tonight's game it will be one of Durant, Giannis or Harden. In 2 days it will be Embiid or Trae(yes the rookie contract).

Surprised Tobias Harris did not make the list. He is right up there.

2. Wall
3. Walker
4. Love
5. Klay

When we are talking mammoth contracts, fewer years remaining is always the better option. Gobert is still a great player and very tradeable, so out of this list, probably Porzingis.

Porzingis as he is basically a hugely more expensive taller Kelly Olynck. Its probably why there is such a shakeup in the Mavs front office. To be fair KP isn't 100 percent healthy and prob will never be.

Wall's deal is almost up and he seemed to be 6th man worthy at least even after that injury. He could help a contending team on the buyout market eventually. Reminds me of how Reggie Jackson use to be looked at.

This is between KP and Wall but looking at the overall picture, this is John Wall.

Wall - $80 million, 40 games played, no playoff appearance. 2 more years worth $91 million.

Porzingis - $57 million, 100 games played, helped team to 2 playoff appearances. 3 more years worth $101 million.

So basically after this season, KP have 1 extra year and $10 million more than Wall.

Unless Wall can go to a contending team, most likely KP will end up doing more in his 5 year $158 million contract than Wall with his 4 year 170 million contract.

What contract would you have to attach the biggest asset to get rid of? Hard to say for certain. Seems like a team might take Gobert just for expiring contracts, no asset needed. It does feel like you'd probably need to trade away an asset to get out from under that Wall contract.

Absolutely. This post should remain pinned with randomly rotating names. As a statue for RealGm hot takes.

Tobias Harris tends to fly under the radar with these lists. He’s been decent this year though.

But...

There’s a reason why every time he’s up for a new contract/extension, his current team ends up moving him.

76ers really got stuck holding the bag on that one.

Porzingis for me, untradable, If Jazz announced they're trading Gobert, dozens of teams would line up for that, he is not a bad contract

Voted Wall because he can't stay healthy but Porzingis is the contract that is hurting his team the most.

I think outside of OKC and Boston not many people understood the $14.5 million buyout in year 2. Its still a bad contract but at this point in time much better which is why the Celtics parted with a first round pick to swap out Kemba.
John Wall seems to be the worst right now. But as mentioned before Chris Paul was at the top of the list not long ago
Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."
