Wish we could get #3 and #5 somehow.
Keep Green & Kuminga as teammates.

Kispert is underrated here on this board

Jalen Green and Moody will provide a nice scoring boost. Both have great shooting numbers. Moody can rebound and from the highlights I've seen, he works hard and doesn't give up on plays. Both avg. atleast 1 steal a game last year too so they aren't complete defensive liabilities either.

Bench after Fultz comes back

Cole, MCW
Jalen Green
Moody, Bacon
FA?? or Okeke
Wendell CarterJr.

That doesn't look like a bad line up.

Isaac and Fultz will likely start. I also think Bamba will be here next season.

We will be kind of thin at PF before JI comes back. If Mobley is available it might be a safe move.

Let’s see how the lottery shakes out.

If we land a top 3 picks + the #8/9 pick. We can grab a star guard + a really nice F prospect.

While I'm all in on BPA, we are in dire need of offensive production for this team. If we miss out on Cade, which is fair, my second favorite is Green as his scoring would elevate the team, and you could build around it. The problem is with the second pick, I have no idea who I want, and I think that is a good thing. Less of a chance of being disappointed as a lot of players in that range have similar ceilings, but different skill sets to bring to the table to improve the team they get drafted to.

If we have the #8 pick and Scottie Barnes is available …. *cough*

But I also expect there to be a lot of action on the trade market with Ross, Harris and such. We also have the TPE and cap space. So we can focus on BPA and fill gaps later.

I feel like the Magic would be the only team who actually gets the number one pick and instead of starting him right away they put him at the end of the bench getting 8-10 mins a game. Magic have a horrible record at player development.

LOL.. sorry bt in this new-era we are seeing, offense ( especially 3pt shooting) trumps defense and if there is one thing Barnes is lacking at..its offense

Shooting is not the definition of offense.

The best offenses in the league move the ball well. Barnes is a phenomenal playmaker for his position and that becomes more dangerous in transition when defenses don’t know if he is attacking the basket or looking for the outlet. He makes players around him better shooters.

Unlike a Ben Simmons, Barnes is actually willing to shoot him self, if he continues to improve that shot the sky is the limit for him both offensively and defensively. Luckily, we are rebuilding and have time to develop him.

Oh I agree. But in fact, that includes ALL players in the draft and in the league. I and I think a lot of Magic fans are just tired already of drafting those hyper-athletic longboi muscled beasts who can do everything except shoot and hope he "just develops" it.

This is different than Bamba or Isaac. Bamba was not in any way ready for the NBA. Not physically, not mentally and not even by talent level. Isaac still has a long ways to go physically. He just can’t stay healthy. His talent however is already blossoming.

Barnes is a much different story physically. That plus his playmaking and defense will go a long way in making him available to contribute day 1 against grown men in the NBA.
