Going to be interesting to see who the networks use as their hype machines to draw interest into these series. Obviously, it's a little easier in the East with Giannis, and Trae/Embiid.

I don't think Paul George is all that marketable, and with Kawhi and Chris Paul out indefinitely, it's going to be interesting to see if they start jumping on the Book bandwagon.

They'll market Giannis vs Embiid/Young and PG vs Booker as long as Kawhi and CP3 are out

Going to be interesting this offseason - if the Suns do make it to the Finals - well even if they do not - how many veterans (Blake, Carmelo, etc) - will find them a more attractive option on the veterans minimum

I wasn't advocating either player - those were the first two older veterans that popped into my head. My bigger point was will Phoenix become a destination for veterans when in the past, they would look at Cleveland, Miami, GSW, the Nets this year - to play for the minimum.

I kinda feel bad for Simmons today. He's getting roasted on sports talk radio (as you'd expect).
I think he has a mental issue he's going through and it's going to be tough to get past.

If they don't get a great offer for him, I wonder if they would trade him for Westbrook.
Neither can shoot but at least Westbrook is oozing confidence.

I've never seen a situation like Simmons.

He's gotta lose a lot of weight, IMO, and just shoot whatever feels natural to him. Look at someone like Lonzo, who's become a pretty serviceable 3 point shooter with that awful form or Rondo who played really similar as a PG.

It's mental, definitely, but he's gotta own up to his lack of craft and training. No way is he a gym rat. He hasn't added one thing to his game since he was 20 years old.

Something we haven't really discussed yet is, when will Book be up for an extension?
He has 3 years left after this one. I know guys like Beal have gotten maybe 2 year extensions.
I think we have to wait one more year, but I can't imagine he'd take it yet as he'll want a 5 year supermax probably.
