If we got rid of hortford, ben should be much easier.

I’m not in the “we have to move Ben no matter what!” camp.

He was pathetic, but they were the ones letting him pretend to be a point guard with no perimeter game.

If none of the offers are sufficient, I would consider keeping him and showcase him in a different role.

With that being said, my definition of sufficient is very realistic. Ben excels at a few aspects of the game, but he will most likely always be a scared, reluctant shooter. He may get back to hitting 60%+ free throws, and being aggressive around the basket, but I don’t ever see a good shooter.

Him as a forward with Jo and Tobias is not something I want to see very much of, but would do it to rehab his value. It’s just a waste of time. Tobias and Embiid don’t really function as floor spacers, so Ben is a horrible fit when we are hoping to improve to title contention.

The fact they don't fit is exactly why now is the optimal time to sell high not on Ben Simmons, but on Tobias Harris.

Then let Ben rehab value playing forward and backup center where he belongs.

Give the PG keys to whoever we get back (CJ?) and/or Maxey.

I think there would be outrage by some if they moved Tobias and kept Ben, but that’s why emotional fans can’t be in charge of trades.

Exactly. Fans are idiots and morons. No chance Daryl Morey cares what they think lol.

I think the best move would be to trade Harris before the draft, replace him with a high volume 3D wing (doesn't have to be great at it), rehab Simmons to the trade deadline as he goes nuts for a month in the lead up to the all-star voting and then auction him off at the deadline when you also will have more intel on what disgruntled stars are out there.

They're fine with racism actually. So the water bottle is much worse.

There is no more racism in Boston or at the Garden then there is anywhere else... and you know that.

I mean I could be wrong but at some point I'd that's all that's available, you do it.

Only one trade makes sense for all parties involved.

Ben Simmons and picks for Damian Lillard

Is OKC throwing in their lotto pick this year? If so, I’d certainly consider it, yeah.

Hollinger thinks that Lavine is doable.

Surprised. Even if another GM thought we were misusing Ben, and they could get a lot more out of him by playing him at a position he is suited for, why trade that value for him? Maybe if two or three GMs really like him, we can get something decent.

Okay so I want Ben gone just as bad as the next guy, but playing him at the dunker and the way doc ran the half court offense misusing is an understatement
