You can't be a good player if you can't at least hit mid range shots and you're not a 7'0 monster.

Your next post will be 23,000th post.
To put that into perspective, Elgin Baylor has 23,149 points (31st all time) and Clyde Drexler has 22,195 (32nd). Wade is next at 23,165. You have more RealGM posts than James Harden, Russ, Gary Payton, Larry Bird have NBA regular szn points. Great company.
Wonder where that post count ranks on the Heat forum? Top ten? More likely top 20.

Philly needs a PG who can stretch the floor and isn't afraid to shoot. The obvious upgrade is Point Winnie.

Lead himself? No, not as-is
He needs to be a center on a D'antoni esque team with multiple ball handlers and a prolific scorer like Steph or Lillard.
Philly not having multiple ball handlers was one of their downfalls imo-- and one of the reasons I like this Hawks team

Benny getting absolutely besmirched for passing up that dunk but let's be honest we've seen Yimmy repeatedly make very similar plays and Yimmy is actually depended on to be a scorer

I still don't get why Ben Simmons wasn't getting a ton of low post shots against that small backcourt of Atlanta's. How is Tre not getting abused in the low post if not just getting him in foul trouble.

confidence was completely shot. worse than when LeBron couldn't post up Jaja Barea and Jason Kidd

Sure but before the 2nd round started I would have told the whole team that one of our main options as Simmons in the low post with a smaller player on him. Let it be known to Simmons and his teammates they expect him to abuse the smaller guards when they're defending him. I would have put it completely on Simmons in front of everyone on the team that I expect him to score in the post vs defend him during the series and then throw him under the bus after the series is over.
Privately I'd ask Simmons, what good is your height if you can't abuse player 3-5 inches smaller then you in the low post.
This is really all on Simmons who hasn't prioritize shooting at since joining the NBA, maybe less then anyone who has ever played the game, it's possible a trade wakes him up but I wouldn't want to bet on that.

Re: Iggi bike, farewell Tien-- Around the World, NBA PLAYOFFS
So many senseless commentary by fans and espn.
Ben Simmons has 4 years 145 million left on a contract he signed in the offseason. Unless Philadelphia gets him to retire, or offer 3 first round picks plus Seth, no team is going to absorb the contract just because Philadelphia does not want him anymore.
He is going to be a sixer next year and theyre going to have to spend countless hours developing his shooting form.
This is the first time Dwight Howard was the second worst free throw shooter in a team he plays for.
Also lets not ignore that Embiid has his share of blame yesterday. 8 turnovers. He is ALWAYS injured. Always. Theres never a season when he doesnt have an ankle or a knee issue. Hes going to get surgery and may not even be available for the start of the upcoming season.
His cardio/stamina is terrible. He is probably about 15-20 lbs overweight to be in “Heat shape”. Like Charles Barkley said about Anthony Davis, in your mid 20s youre suppose to be super human. All these injuries esrly on is a bad sign of whata to come when youre in your early 30s. There is something wrong with Embiids strength and conditioning programming.
