We also sacrifice Malachi ball-time bringing him here and I don't really want to trade Flynn. He's going to turn into a good player who'll be too good to have off the bench.

When you have a prospect like Suggs, you dont even think about FLynn

I honestly like all of the top 4 picks, ill even say top 5 with Kuminga.....after that it's a huge drop for me

He might be wrong but its something to think about.

I would take Green and Suggs over Mobley.

Really hoping we come away with one of the Jalens. Though I would still be very happy with Mobley.

Yah. There will be no problem playing suggs/fred/flynn as our rotating guards. All of them are high iq. They'll figure it out.
.
This might mean kyle is gone for sure though.

I know Suggs is 6' 4" but hoping this team will have a legit wing as part of the guard rotation.

offense only center? no thanks

He shows incredible basketball IQ with good blocks and incredible steals for a big on the defensive end in a tough league as one of the youngest players in the draft. I'm not sold he won't be at least passable on the defensive end.
If I'm drafting a center in today's game, he needs to be crazy special. You just need wing scoring now. Even Embiid couldn't win since none of his wings can create.
Bucks use Brook Lopez, Atlanta uses Capela, suns use Ayton and clippers don't even use a center.

Unless the player is a two way stud like Embiid or Anthony Davis, I would much rather target a wing

Mobley would address our biggest need. Though he'd need some years of development to round out his game. Our center position would be set for the future.

Would give them a future First top 14 protected and our lower second this year to move up 2 spots. They already have Christian Wood but could play both of them together. Or trade Wood for assets.

Mobley at $7 mil to $10 mil next 4 years let’s us keep and add to core and balance team.

Or how about we keep Suggs and try to trade for Woods?

Suggs has Raptor written all over him.

Yah....if mobley falls to us that would mean cade/green/suggs are off the table. You'd have to justify taking kuminga or barnes or mitchell over him and thats not happening.

Cleveland has a history of making HUGE reaches at the top of the lottery, see Bennett, TT and Waiters. Logically Suggs should be who falls to us, but there is a chance we are gifted someone else.

Thats exactly my feeling too but i diddnt think to mention wiggins as a comparison.

I get the sense green is either going to be VERY good or VERY underwhelming and nothing in between. Suggs is the sure thing imo. I want the high iq guy.

I agree with that wholeheartedly it’s a very high risk high reward situation with Green. IF he does land somewhere in the middle you are looking at a Terrence Ross kind of player. I do agree he will be on either end of the spectrum though.

Suggs is my guy and his game reminds me of Brandon Roy. Not the freak athlete Green or Kuminga are, but the guy knows the game and competes on both ends of the floor. Also I love Hibachi, but he also said that Luka and Zion were going to bust. Something to think about.

How would Green and Fred work as a backcourt? Suggs and Fred would be perfect. What happens to Trent with either? Do we sign and trade him or just let him go in the off season?

Holy cow I wish I can take my vote back for Jalen Suggs. Just watched some Jalen Green highlights and never knew how long and athletic this guy is for a guard. Speedy quick and acrobatic around the rim. Wowza I hope Green falls to us at 4

Meh. I watched the games where cade and mobley were eliminated and one could say all the same things about them.

None a single one of the top prospects met the expectations he lays out here.

It's almost like there's no difference between the 2, 3, 4 spots. Someone on twitter suggested packaging Trent to move up. I wouldnt see the point. It's too close to call.

You definitely go with Suggs.

You build championships with PGs and Cs. All other positions are supplementary.

Considering the way Vanfleet plays and Suggs and VanFleet make a great backcourt. Add in a resigned Trent Jr. Gives you a great 3 headed monster.

Problem is we are still effed at C position.

Nah Cade was double teamed that whole game. Despite that he went on a clutch little stretch where he tied the game up after being down 10 points with only a few minutes left. But I agree that it's too early to judge Suggs.
