As long as you have KD, you have a chance to win a chip but don't expect too much from Harden when the lights shine brightest. He's a mental midget

If he didn't care, why did he come back to play on a grade 2 hamstring strain?

GTFO with this nonsense. Look at his numbers in the first round. And look at his playoff stats as a rocket. True he didn’t provide enough support for KD in the second round. But he was playing with a grade 2 hammy strain and played 52 minutes in game 7. 52! Anyone who still blames Harden for not advancing is nothing but a hater. Plain and simple.

I’m a Rox fan myself. It’s idiotic fans like you who don’t appreciate greatness that makes me ashamed of being a Rox fan sometimes.

He averaged 25pts 11asts 9rebs on 47/37/86, 62%TS 25 PER as a Net.

Ask me again if I give a damn. He'll be under our training team's care this offseason and will have a full training camp. If that's what Harden does out of shape, the NBA is in trouble next season when he will be in shape.

I agree, but dudes probably still want to hoop, and staying in Olympic Village is basically a sex festival for athletes, so I can understand why they'd want to play.

Harden has been an elite playoff performer in his career. people knock him for coming up small in game 7;s vs. much better teams when he had to play elite to even drag his team to a game 7 he should have been swept in.

its good. they need to play more basketball coming off hamstring injuries. and the olympic schedule is lax and spread out... not to mention superteam recruiting efforts and building even more chemisty.

1/3 get hurt and go down with an injury? And now you're stuck with only 2 basketball players along with no role players for your HC m, mediocre backups and chances are both salary cap hell and loss of future draft picks.

Etc.

How'd the Big 15 work out for u guys?

It was a fun season and made the playoffs during only year #1 under coach Thibs.

With younger homegrown kids like Immanuel Quickley, R.J Barrett, Obi Toppin and Mitchell Robinson (Julius Randle as our FA All-star).

We've also got A+ available salary cap space heading into the offseason (unlike Brooklyn) along with damn near 3 first round picks too. In order to improve.

We weren't absolutely embarrassed by failing in the 2nd round despite a $$$$roster$$$$ with James Harden, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin and lol AWOL Kyrie Irving.

Good luck next year maybe you guys can convince K. Leonard to ring chase?

C: Blake Griffin.
PF: Kevin Durant.
SF: K. Leonard.
SG: James Harden.
PG: Kyrie Irving.

Unfortunately for Brooklyn and fortunately for the NBA you guys, can't afford that...

Why can't we?
Double sign and trade of Dinwiddie and Harris for Kawhi. He's worth being hard capped.

Sorry but BK can not afford to pay Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Kevin Durant and MAX Kawhi Leonard.

Why? Because it's called an NBA Salary Cap.

C: Mitchell Robinson.
PF: Julius Randle.
SF: Kawhi Leonard.
2G: R.J. Barrett.
PG: Immanuel Quickley.

That's going to be an awesome NYM team..

It is a soft cap. Nets could match salaries using as few as 2 players.

No one wants to play for the knicks. Especially after Randle proved he was an enormous empty stats fraud choker in the playoffs.

It's legal under the cap.
Sorry, but you are wrong.

Sorry, but you are wrong.

It's not legal. We're more than $20mil over next year's tax apron already. The hard cap is at the apron, so to receive any player in a S&T, we'd have to fill out the roster & shed over $20mil in salary in the process.

You are a bonafide moron. Harden was averaging 27 points 11 assists 8 boards on 55 percent shooting and 46 from the three point line in the playoffs before he suffered a grade 2 hamstring strain. I repeat you are a moron

Return to Brooklyn Nets
