At this point in time the most reliable tidbit we have is from WOJ who says Cade will only speak to the Pistons.

I can’t imagine anyone else gets picked. A trade is possible but short of a godfather offer I can’t see it.

I believe Detroit had it's sights set on Jalen Green.
I don't believe they thought they would win the number one pick.

Options at this point.

Take Cade One. and try and trade for another pick to get Jalen green if he is 3 or 4.

Or

Trade down and select Jalen Green and a slew of picks and or players to weavers likings.

What would have to be added to get another pick to select Jalen Green?

Future first along with Hayes and Doumboya? Take on some cap by sending out Corey and letting them waive him.

Cade, Green, Bey, Grant, Beef Stew... and the bench and fill up with vets. all of that lineup can hit threes.

Draft is only a month away. Will be interesting to see what Weaver does. Very intrigued and interested to see what he does and what trades and moves he makes.

I don't know if anybody posted this but I watched this interview Cade did on the Redick podcast about a week ago prepping for the lottery and I loved the personality he showed. Having seen his previous interviews, he seemed mature but very reserved.
He showed a off a dynamic, fun personality in his interview and thought it was a fun watch. He's also very confident, almost to the point of being cocky but not quite. I love that in a player personally. Anyway... Enjoy

Yeah, I think this was posted somewhere here before, but I didn’t want to watch anything like this until I knew the lottery results. I finally watched it yesterday and came away really impressed with this kid. Smart, very confident, candid, funny. He’s just got a presence to him. Obviously comes from a strong family unit, with supportive parents and an older brother and sister. His brother (who briefly played professionally in Europe) and cousin (who is also his trainer) kind of form a tight circle around him. He’s been groomed for this for a while now.
