That French penalty was the biggest joke that I've ever seen. What is the point of VAR if that isn't overturned? England at some time in the match were playing each and every one of the four teams in the group if the results had stayed the same. That's just incredible. Felt sorry for Hungary, Germany going out would have been quite funny.

England can beat Germany. Play Grealish, Saka and Sancho. Calvert lewin in for Kane and Sancho in for Rice. More attacking, more speed, more pressing. Germany are not a team that should be worrying anyone. Belgium unlucky to get Portugal but they'll beat them. France get a pass through to the next round but they haven't been this dominant team I've been told that they are. Maybe they'll start playing now it's the knockouts.

Game should be 84 minutes long.

81-82 minutes would be even better. Hungary would finish 1st in the group if that was the case.

Suisse goalkeeper Yann Sommer is probably glad his opponents in the next game are Mbappe/Grizemann/Benzema and not the man, the legend - Adam Szalai.

*Szalai Adam. He is not an Indo-European.

So as it turns out, football is indeed 22 players chasing a ball, where in the end, the Germans win... except when Portugal could benefit from it. A German lead would've allowed Portugal to relax instead of busting their chops against France. But that's OK.

Wales started well but that goal deflated them. Too bad Denmark did not score second. That break will give time to Wales to re organize and they are not out of the game by any means.

Still over 30 min to play, hope Denmark keeps playing for win and not to defend the score.... I have seen more crazy things happen then coming back from 0-2...

Let’s if this wakes up Italy again. They got lucky there. Where is the team from the first half?

They look disjointed

Any team with better quality would have beat them easily today
