Have we interviewed Moody?
Based on the trade up rumors and what Thibs said, it would make sense.

I like Moody. He's got potential to be a really solid player on the next level. Would fit nicely on the team as well and he does bring a lot of qualities that Thibs values.

Only way I’m trading up is if we absorb Bledsoe’s contract and get the 10th pick, give them Knox and 19 for Bledsoe and the 10th.

I'd do that. Make Bledsoe a combo guard off the bench.
Then again, two full seasons at 19 million...
Yeah, maybe.

Obviously the need is a PG but I don't know that the Knicks will be looking to drafting a PG as much as signing a free agent one. They are clearly trying to win. And you want an experienced PG in there that you know can actually handle the pressure and live up to expectations.
Where they're picking? I think they'll go with the best player and best talent available with a focus being on someone that can create their own offense or that has the potential to make others better. So Josh Giddey, James Boucknight, Kai Jones, Ziaire Williams, Ayo Donsonmu and Shariffe Cooper are probably the guys that would make sense and that they'll probably focus on. Of course that's assuming they can't consolidate and move up to maximize talent.
Boucknight probably is the ideal guy for them as he's a guy that could create shots just about as good as anyone after Jalen Green. And with their 2 best bench shot creators both free agents Boucknight can pretty much step right in and make an impact. I do think they will be very interested in Kai Jones length, athleticism and upside. I mean a rim runner that can hit 3's is kinda noice right? Donsonmu gives Thibs a versatile guy that can play and defend multiple positions, get up and down the floor and shoot/score some.
I'm a bit afraid that they are going to go for a more ready guy (e.g. Mitchell) and sacrifice the future a bit by not grabbing the best talent (e.g. Tre Mann). Which, doesn't really make sense as I think we are going to grab a pg in FA (or just start Luca Vildoza) and have whoever we draft at PG get low minutes anyway. I'd rather that be someone with higher upside. But welcome to the Thibodeau effect.
I can't imagine us picking a guy like Boucknight with Tom as coach, unless he thinks he has the skills to play D. Not a super efficient player either, but if they think they can teach him D and to be more controlled, then sure.

This mock was terrible for us. Did not address needs at all. Just selected a Kentucky big man and a SF who was a 5 star recruit, but still a project.

Hey Chicago if you want 3 more picks and Knox/Frank or Obi in exchange for Lavine, call.
Hurry up tho, GMs are calling.
We need to keep the 32 if we're trading the 19 and 21, it's like having a 3rd first rounder.
And we need to be keeping as much talent as possible, Thibs should not have too much say on the roster, we saw what he did in Minn.
All Thibs is doing with us is coaching at a high level only, forget Minny that's history.
But I agree, moving to, let's say the 12 spot should cost us 2 firsts and we keep 32 for a backup 5 or G-league stash.

I know it’s not the best assets, but I wonder how far up 19, Mavs 2023, and 32 could get us?

I'd be happy with any 2 of those 3 at 19 and 21 and throw J.Butler and C.Duarte in there.
My trade up guys are M.Moody, D.Mitchell and J.Giddey.

Gimme this kid. He's got the whole bag going. Actual offensive shot creation bag that's making me drool right now. My only concern is the low 3 point percentage but his FT percentage tells me the 3 point shot should be fine with some time. This is exactly what the Knicks need - a dynamic guard who can create his own shot at each level and take over a game. He has strong handle, strong and willing finisher at the rack. Has a whole mid range bag to get his own shot. Trade up and get this NY kid on this team.

Not saying that's my dream offseason because i want more 3 point shooting in our starting lineup but Lowry is a good 3 point shooter and Barrett and Randle ended up good 3 point shooters last year. At least we would have some really good 3 point shooting coming off the bench with Moody and Bullock and whichever one of the guards we draft at 21 in Hyland, Mann, Butler or Duarte.
I know most are against Derozan but that dude is still a baller and does everything good besides his 3 point shooting and i did see that he's like a career 37% 3 point shooter from the corner.
Again that's not my dream starting lineup but i think that's a more realistic type of offseason we could see from the Knicks and would definitely be contending for the next couple of years with that team. Lowry and Derozan took Toronto to the playoffs 5 out of their 6 years together there.
