Re: 2020-2021 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Christopher has the size, defense, free throw percentages, and ability to run pick and roll. Not a good enough slasher to put pressure on opposing defenses, though. We see how valuable Maxey could be when he was going. We need a guy with size that can present that element. Someone like David Johnson would be more appealing than Christopher, in my opinion. Although we'd be sacrificing defense and a little shooting upside.

LOL so that measurement for Shariffe Cooper disappeared, as suspected. That was fun while it lasted, though.

Why is Keon Johnson ranked so high? This guy is Zhaire Smith 2.0

I'm lukewarm on Suggs, Christopher, Bouknight, Moody, etc as creators. Don't get me wrong, I think they have sufficient handle to run pick and roll and they'll be able to score just fine.
Not sure if they have enough slashing ability to get the rim consistently off the dribble. Don't really see those guys boogying on defenders and truly cooking. These are the traits I'm looking for. Which is why I value Tre Mann, David Johnson, Jalen Green, Shariffe Cooper, Jaden Shackelford, Scotty Pippen, D.J. Carton, etc.

I know exactly what you mean, but I think Zhaire was so talentless I can't even disrespect Keon by agreeing with you. The first name that comes to mind for me is Cassius Stanley from Duke last year. Freak athlete with a rudimentary base level of basketball skills that suggests there could be upside. I don't think Zhaire had any upside at all.
But yeah, I think he's way overrated. No reason to swing on a guy like that when there are plenty of guys that can ball available. Can't believe we're still valuing athleticism as much as we are as a league when the best young players in the league are terrible athletes.

Kispert, Wagner,Jared Butler, Bouknight and Davion Mitchell should be drafted ahead of Scottie Barnes, Kuminga and Keon Johnson.
*50-50 on kispert on that statement but I think he can play

Re: 2020-2021 College Basketball / NBA Draft
I don't think Kispert should be drafted in the Top 40.
Barnes has a chance to be the best player in the draft. He's humongous, has elite positional handle, has elite defense, has elite positional passing. He's a willing scorer off the dribble.
He's everything people thought Ben Simmons was, IMO.

Re: 2020-2021 College Basketball / NBA Draft
I thought Barnes would be one of your favorite prospects, given your love for bullyball. Another guy right up your alley is Trendon Watford.
Watford is ridiculously slept on. Easily should be a top 10 selection. One of the biggest scorers in this draft.

Not really into bullyball. But to max out Ben, for me, we need to play bullyball because if we dont put Ben on a bullyball position he’s a 0 in halfcourt offense. Think of how Bucks did it for Giannis. But thats another discussion.
So Baylor also plays NBA style combo guard duo with Mitchell and Butler huh? I think both guys can play and i like their numbers

Haha im no expert and honestly i just spend 30mins looking on their numbers and youtube just to arrive to all these conclusions
we all know how that “humongous, elite positional handle and elite positional passing” will turn out. He lacks shooting and creating for the wing position.
I think im overrating Kispert. But I see a guy who can be an elite shooter with average playmaking ability. He’s not gonna be a star but he can be a valuable starter joe harris, herro and duncan robinson. This kind of stock is trending in the league. Its just that im quite cautious with these seniors they know how to rig the system.

Nah I think Barnes has legit shotcreating talent.
He creates more off the dribble than Bouknight and those boys I was just talking about. And he's like 30-40 pounds heavier than them.

I like what im seeing from Kuminga. This guy can be really good. I read people say he’s Siakam 2.0, he’s not. He has better guard skills and his shooting mechanics looks good. I think his shooting can get better.
I have..
1.) jalen green
2.) cunningham
3.) mobley
4 or 5.) suggs or kuminga

He’s gonna have a problem without the jumper. He’s just using his size against smaller non-pro defenders.
But you’re right im checking his clips. He looks like what we want from Ben.
He’s like in between of Draymond and Ben. And would you want a player like that? You have to let them have the ball or else you’re playing 4v5. And if you give them the ball, you better be playing with Steph Curry or Damian Lillard because he’s not gonna breakdown the defense and create 4v5 situations on halfcourt like a Doncic, Trae or Harden.
His best case is if he surprisingly develops into a shooter like how kawhi did from college to the pros. If he can, that’s a number one overall pick for sure

Yup, far better handle, dribble penetration, and scoring package moves than Ben Simmons ever displayed at LSU. Barnes has insane scoring upside, even without a jumpshot.

You know im just here for some discussion. May i know your perspective to why you think he has “insane scoring upside”?
I think it would be very hard for someone to have “insane scoring upside” as a non shooter unless you are atleast 7’ (thinking siakam or giannis)
And do you see him playing PF?

Sorry yeah. Kispert aint lottery material. My mistake on that earlier post.
The problem with Kispert is he is slow and lacks length. He wont be able to attack close outs in the NBA. He will have a hard time to release those shots.

And what’s not to like about Bouknight?
I think his offense is made for NBA’s offense. He can be like Sexton 2.0

Jared Butler should be ranked a lot higher. And definitely higher than Davion Mitchell.

Because he takes guys off the dribble so effortlessly in the halfcourt. He's going to score a ton of unassisted buckets at the next level. Shooting is just icing. The cake batter of being able to score is creating shot off the dribble. Barnes can do that better than most of the "guards" being mocked in the first round.
