Well...wait. If he were to leave, it would be against all conventional wisdom and logic.
He did leave the Raptors because it wasn't his place, and they ended up winning a title.
What made him choose to play out the final year of his contract in Toronto, Canada? A championship, or rather, lack of one. Clippers have never even gotten to a conference finals, now they have.
What if Leonard leaves to join teams that have never won a title before before? After Raptors and Clippers, you have Pacers, Hornets, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Timberwolves and Pelicans. Maybe he ends up becoming a wandering mercenary, a Chris Paul who makes teams better and respectable, but with a dash of Tim Duncan - providing wisdom, intelligence, sharp focus, and responsibility (playing for the greater good).
At the end of the day, Leonard has two Finals MVPs, he's "through" with ring chasing, and is with Clippers to help finish what Chris Paul started.
