I dont think he’s a guy we need nor do i think he can run a ton of PnR and ISO.
Look for our team now as constructed, McBride would be a very welcome addition.
And you like how our team is constructed? Haha
McBride is OK if we have James Harden instead of Ben Simmons.
Our team is constructed by Dr. Frankenstein lol last year it was even worse.
I’m actually okay with a Peyton Pritchard/FVV type to go along with a CJ/Lavine type works out better for the team.
McBride can shoot. If you can shoot and handle you can play with Ben lol.
That’s the PG/SG pairing (I’m traditional here because guess what our best player should play how Ayton is, not superstar gas out at 3qr time take 25 shots).
20 FGA max, DPOY impact.
So the SG and our Center will get their 40 shots, the PG can shoot and actually be a PG, defend, pass, and facilitate, 3&D, and treat Ben as an old school non shooting PF rollman/passing playmaking forward. Or better yet play him how he was played in College.
Super easy. People say we’ll struggle to score if our go to is CJ/Lavine as the one an only option, but I digress. The dynamic of the team and balance is what I’m looking for here.
