Maybe but he wasn't good last night and Deschamps wasn't happy with his application or attitude.

It was such a poor penalty

Had a good game but he's a despicable person. Xhaka has had the best ever game I've seen him play. I can at last understand why Arsenal might have wanted him.

Exactly this. They all think they should win without putting in the effort and want to be stars. apart from Kanté of course. Switzerland played as a team and apart from the 15 minutes after the penalty were calm and in control.

Congratulations to Switzerland. they deserved the win. Where have the French supporters gone who were telling me how wrong I was when they scraped a win over the Germans in Game 1?

The French have massive depth and a talented nation of footballers but sadly they all think they're the world's greatest and want to showboat instead of playing football as a team. People have been annointing MBappe for the last 2 years yet this tournament showed him up as a skilfull player with a poor attitude and a lack of team play.

The 2 Swiss CBs mastered the French attack. Xhaka was a general in midfield, Zuber was electric down the wing, Seforovic crucnched the French defence in the air.

Are Akanji and Elvedi that good in the bundesliga? France have massive depth at CB but looked poor in comparison.

Add „not watching yesterday’s games“ to my growing list of questionable life decisions.

Coman didn't score or assist directly but he was involved in the build up of the 2:1 and 3:1. Hockey assists if you wanna call it like that. France were also way more dangerous after he was subbed on.

Believe Dechamps had only one substitution left and wanted to make another change but feared Coman would have to be taken off after he made the change due to the knee injury he had. So he wanted a definite answer from Coman whether or not he can continue the game until the end. Knowing Coman and his injury history, he was furious about that question and felt disrespected by Dechamps.
Dechamps ended up subbing Coman off.

It was just poor handling of the situation by both of them, mainly Dechamps. I can understand that Coman is pissed about such a question given all the injuries he went through.

I'd say both are pretty good but not absolute top class.
I rate Akanji a little higher than Elvedi.

They were 3 times as good as Varane and ten times better than Lenglet yesterday.

Still ranks below following Hertha in terms of pain suffered from these questionable life decisions doesn't it?

I don't get why Lenglet is starting anyhow. They have about 500 CBs that are better than him even in the U21 squad.
Must be some sort of status thing - "he plays for Barca - he must be good".
I mean Barca haven't exactly been known for having great defenders in recent years.

Coman hit the crossbar with like 2 minutes left in extra time.

He definitely had the pace to cause problems to the RCB on the Swiss team but he couldn't get assists or the key goal.

Yeah, they brought on that RCB for Widmer who had been having a great game. I'm guessing the new guy was all about going forward because as a defender he was very poor.
