I’m all in on the Thunder signing JT Thor . The name just fit.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Thread
Keon Johnson and Kai Jones are two prospects that would leave me a bit underwhelmed if we drafted them.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Thread
At 6, think the only real disappointment for me would be Sengun (don't think it happens but still). Have to read more on Keon Johnson but wouldn't really be thrilled with that either. Basically anyone else I've seen within reasonable range there I'd be OK with (I've only seen Jones at 16/18 from memory).

I think Isaiah Jackson is considerably better than Kai Jones for that 16-18 range..

Kai Jones is 16-18 range and at that range if we really want a big it’s either him , Isaiah Jackson and Garuba . Pretty sure they are in the same ballpark as prospect or at least similar enough that I would trust Presti’s judgement.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Thread
Can the Lakers trade their pick on draft night or they have to keep it because they traded 2020/2022 FRPs?
We got very unlucky but this draft is stacked so I wouldn't mind trading future assets to have 4 picks (trading seconds and some future asset or Kenrich). Gonna have a lot of playing time for so many players next season and our roster is really really bad.

2020 doesn’t matter cause it’s over .
Anyway, they can have a trade agreed , draft the player and then trade the rights immediately after.

Does this means he jump up to 4 and above ? Or minimally 5th over Kuminga ?
It’s starting to sound that way.

I’m not a shooting expert, but this shot doesn’t look broken. I realize it’s in an empty gym, but there is definite pressure for him to perform at a high level with all the GMs watching him.

Can’t remember which podcast it was but I heard that he was actually a better shooter than Cade in high school. FSU does have a system at coils cause guys to not maximize their individual abilities.

Was of the opinion that his flaws on shooting is workable / correctable so it’s true he might be moving up the board.

In ESPN's mock they released this morning, they had Barnes going 5th now with Kuminga dropping to us. Sounds like he impressed in the workouts, but really killed the interviews w teams.

His release looks a little slow but no one is expecting him to be steph curry. With his tools if he could be around 35% from three and 75% from the line, it would be a home run.

Slow release is something very workable . At least that means he can’t be left open easily.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Thread
I wouldn't be that surprised if Suggs ends up at 6. My main issue is that I didn't want him at the first place

I love Suggs. I’m surprised people are down on him. I see him being a player that might not put up big scoring numbers night after night but I think he can be a better version of Jrue Holiday. I would be thrilled to get him.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Thread
If Cleveland is willing to move down to pick Barnes or Kuminga, we have a shot at Mobley (they may be fine with Allen as big). Gonna be tough to beat Orlando though since they are picking before and can offer 5+8 or 5+ a good young player...

Yup, don’t know about the fit with okc, but I have Suggs, then Mobley ending up the best players in this draft, in that order.
