Sterling needs to stop holding the ball so much.

Starting to understand why Havertz cost all that money. Germany has no goal scoring threat outside him though.

Its the flaw of this 3 CB formation. Not enough threat from the outside. Takes too much time until the LB and RB are in position on the wings

Maybe Saka was Southgate's attempt at looking like a genius, but even considering his decent performance against the Czechs, it still looks stupid when you look at the options on the bench.

Nobody's taking any form of initiative in this game.

Maybe now Low will change something?
Where's the sturm und drang from the Portugal game.

I know England are now leading but McManaman was correct, their bench 11 is better than the one they started. Sancho and Foden should be starting every match. Probably Mount too.

England up with 13 minutes to go. Yet another test for Linekar's famous quote on German fußball.

It's not their game today. Clearly.

But it’s so easy to believe? Two meh teams with zero creativity, one has to win.

Only 5 more minutes of Löwball. Gotta stay positive.

Don't think it is fair for England to have this as a home game this round. Nail in coffin there.
