It isn’t their last chance to win a ring, this is more so the easiest opportunity they will have. You won’t get opportunities like this again.
MIL supporting cast outside of Giannis is aging. They will be underhanded in the future against some of the up and coming young teams in the east
the bigger problem is that their top 3 guys are getting paid so much, it will be tough to fill out the rest of the roster without going into deep deep luxury tax - have to see if they are willing to do that. they need to re-sign portis and pj tucker just so they don't lose talent for nothing and then have to use the MLE to add someone else.

They need to draft well too.
Man it's always upsetting to see injuries derail teams. This year has been frustrating. I hate to see it like this.

The Hawks roster is better if both Giannis and TYoung are out. Matter of fact The Bucks roster is booty without him.

Can't believe our championship window is already starting to close. Maybe 2 more years of prime core? Mids game should hold, but I don't think Jrue's will. And we already know the prime core isn't enough anyway, so do you start to think of blowing up by jettisoning Mids/Jrue/Lopez to get any sort of youth in the system?
I would say best options:
1. Coaching change
2. Get as good a value as you can for Mids and Jrue and the others, keep DiVincenzo, Nwora and do what you can.

Re: Eastern Conference Finals: (3) Bucks vs. (5) Hawks, Part 2 | Bucks lead 2-1
I’m not really sure how I would retool the Bucks.
Middleton is an elite #3 option, not consistent enough to be a #2. And on this team, due to Giannis’s skill-set, you absolutely need high-level perimeter creation.
Holiday is a good defensive player and performs well on offense when he’s on, but when combined with Middleton, that’s not what they need. Two #3 guys next to a big man with limited post skills is not it.
In addition to that, they have limited shooting. Brook Lopez is completely matchup-dependent. PJ Tucker is not a starting-caliber player at this age. Their team has no athleticism on the perimeter, limited playmaking and half court creation, 0 3&D guys.
Like I’ve been saying for years, I’m actually astonished at how much success they have had, all things considered. But there’s a reason they’re so easy to shut down in the playoffs and it’s not entirely on the coach. If they lose this year and Budenholzer is fired, the new coach would be an idiot if he doesn’t ask for major retooling.

I will share the same concern about Giannis's injury showed to Hawks fans about Trae's injury.
Good guys BLEW OUT the bad guys tonight without Trae. I don't want to hear about Giannis's injury. He was getting blown out at the time he was hurt. All the Hawks have to do is win one at home and one on the road. And we will. My prediction of Hawks in six is going to come true.
Bucks defense is as overrated as I expected going into this series. We can do anything we want whenever we want to them. They have no answer to our team now that we are getting people like Reddish healthy.
If the Hawks were fully healthy for this series we would have won in five. Another gentleman's sweep like the Knicks series.

If anything, this loss proves Giannis needs help more than Kawhi, CP3 and Trae.

I don't think anyone will take this Championship seriously with everybody hurt.
Sad but true. Worst playoffs in history.
If I was a suns fan, I would savor the **** out of this. Sorry we didn't have 3 superstars team up and have a huge window to win a championship, the suns and bucks window is so small it will be a special season for them no matter how it happens.
Suns are a young upcoming team. There is window is far from small. As for the superstar bit, give me a break. Nets weren’t the first or last big 3

The Suns , Hawks and Clippers have the deepest teams. They all had injuries and were able to still win.

Bucks fans were only joking at the fact that Trae stepped WAY back ONTO a standing persons foot and blamed him
Nobody wanted him hurt

Actually no you are 100% correct our beat writers and analysts have a report on this from a few months back. Although Reddish was always taller that mids as mids was 6'7 coming out and Cam was 6'8 with shoes. Supposedly at last measurement Reddish a few months back during his recovery he grew an inch or 2 over the year and was at 6.8 without shoes now and around 6.9 to 6.10 with shoes now.
The growth of his and actually Hunter this offseason/season was confirmed by Pierce as well saying both grew a inch or 2. Hunter is closer to 6'8 or 6'9 now as well.

Good point. I still see them contending for atleast 2 more years. I don’t think it’s over for them regardless of how this season ends, but of course this is a opportunity you would want to take advantage of
Problem now is Giannis is down, and can you trust a Khris Middleton/Jrue holiday combo to carry you to a chip??

Honestly, you might as well trade Giannis at that point because his timeline will not match up with whatever young garbage you get in a Middleton trade

I live here, and I'm really growing to like them. Never enough to abandon my real team, of course, but the Hawks are definitely entertaining and it feels like the city is actually getting behind them. Compared to the funeral-like Falcons games I've been to, the Knicks-Hawks game I went to in the first round was downright raucous.
