Worst season ever.

Yes, but the way he worded his tweets were cringe-worthy

Yeah he’s a douche. I’m sure it would have rubbed players the wrong way. Especially injured guys. Pretty much “ I told you so”

What a story that would be. Might be the most fitting end to this season.

I think this is the scenario I’m warming too. Would be cool. Definitely don’t want kawhi to swoop back in and cakewalk to a title though.

Curious because people are talking bout PGs minutes (735). Lebrons played more than that in 10 post seasons.

PG will surpass 3 of those after next game though. If clippers went on to win the finals in 6 PG will likely have played 1000 playoff minutes. Dunno how often that’s been done. Lebrons most is 983

Leave it to the Clippers to have our best season in franchise history coincide with the worst season in NBA history.

It's happened 9 times before, last time was Tayshaun Prince and Rip Hamilton in '05 at 1023 and 1079 minutes respectively. Definitely not something that occurs often, even with best of 7 series in the 1st round now.

Giannis doing his acl would just be unbelievable really. Literally so close to a title. Hope he hasn’t.

This post season is a complete disaster

The 9 times it has happened:
Rip Hamilton '05 - 1079
Dan Majerle '93 - 1071
Patrick Ewing '94 - 1032
Charles Barkley '93 - 1026
Tayshaun Prince '05 - 1023
Tim Duncan '03 - 1021
Allen Iverson '01 - 1016
Larry Bird '87 - 1015
Shaq '00 - 1000

Its interested they all made the finals.

Theres some scoring stat that Pg just did to. Consecutive 20pt games or something and only done 3 times by Mj, twice by Kd and once by Kobe and they all made the finals when they did that

basically bet the house on Clips coming back this series

Oh man. The scale of the damage of this season has really exploded in the playoffs.

I could see Silver having to resign because of this honestly, and I say this as someone who doesn't think that's actually warranted. There were reasons why this seemed necessary enough that both ownership and players agreed to it.

But knowing the cost, this was a mistake, and it is a mistake that might have consequences that don't just go deep into '21-22, but permanently for players with sever enough injuries.

Not a big fan of Silver, but why would he have to resign when he's the one who always panders to the players themselves?

With it being an Olympic summer I think they should shorten next season as well.

I want to see what happens next with Phoenix' counters to the Clippers of Game 5. Small ball got the best of the Ayton-dependent Suns last game, can they adjust? I wonder if they'll make a specific point to try to get Ayton activated as a scoring threat from the jump.
