I'd say it's extremely unlikely at this point and not worth the risks of playing him.

Exactly. There's zero room for error. We have to play a perfect game tonight from start to finish. No time to experiment with Rondo anymore. The quicker Suns guard are absolutely cooking Rondo and Lue sees that.
If anything let Coffey or Yogi loose on CP3 and Payne.

That may have been true in Games 1 and 2 of the series against Suns guards that were well rested. We are at Game 6 now. Legs are more tired and some of those guards have injuries. Rondo could absolutely be effective.

You can't tell me Rondo couldn't check Chris Paul right now. We need Rondo in Paul's ear reminding CP he is a flopper. Would love to see Rondo get under CPs skin. It is worth some double techs. Maybe punches get thrown and these young Suns don't play it smart and come off the bench.

We tried Rondo again in Game 3 and - shocker - he was still unplayable. The last remaining pro-Rondo argument was that CP3's return would somehow inspire Rondo to turn back the clock. It didn't happen.

Rondo hasn't been any good since leaving the Pelicans. His playoff performance last year was another bubble fluke like TJ Warren and Tyler Herro. I think we all just need to accept that trading for him was a mistake and move on.
