New York - 9th pick , Harrison Barnes
Sacramento- 19th pk, 21st pk, 58th pk, Kevin Knox

New York gets a small forward with 2 left on his contract who can space the floor , while jumping up to 9 to grab Mitchell for their PG

Sacramento sheds salary in Barnes and gets Knox as younger player who fits their time line… they get 2 later first rd picks to continue their rebuild

I dont think its good to the Kings. Barnes is a positive asset. Knox a negative one.

I don't disagree. But we don't have a lot of options. There are no really good young healthy FAs in the free market. The trade market is not good for buyers. We can overpay in trades now to get a overpriced star or get young good players that do not move the needle hoping they improve (like what happened with Randle) or they can be package to get us a true star.

I think you are right timing wise isn’t good for the Knicks. Might have to wait till all star break for top stars to be available. Knicks have to do something in the off-season to please the fans. Starting to hang my hat on us dealing for sexton

There’s a massive gap in talent and impact between Dame and Beal. I don’t mind making moves for stars but Beal isn’t that guy and would be cashing in all our chips for another third option type.

Getting Dame likely means signing another star player. I love RJ but that is worth the trade off.

Would fans prefer a Collin Sexton trade if it meant keeping RJ? That and a possibility of using him to recruit Zion

Sexton probably does not attract the level of star that Dame would. As some here understand you win championships in todays NBA with a big 3.

Zion is a bit redundant to Randle and has no long game. SGA is another guy I'd love to trade for because his contract is nothing. Trading for 2 guys would be difficult and really empty the cupboard but the Knicks are looking to make big upgrades this offseason.

Nobody is paying them 25-30 mil a year as final finishing piece lol only bad teams will pay them cause that's what bad team do.

It's clickbait they come here research what we write then turn it into sauces lmao. The only thing that's legit is that Dame is unhappy that's all anything more it's just speculation.

With his intangibles, I think he can become a strong 2

In this scenario, Rose must have some really good blackmail material. esp if you convince whichever gm to wait six years to get first rounders
