I think Kuminga could be a stud. He would instantly be our most highly touted prospect since what, Dwight? He looks really fluid out there, willing shooter and great at getting to the line. Shot looks good even if his averages were low in a very small sample size. Him plus Booknight or Moody with the 8th would be a huge win.
I also love how he fits with the rest of the team. I know we are at the start of this rebuild and theres a a good chance that a lot of these guys won't be on the team in a few years but I saw enough promise last year to want to give these guys some more time. Kuminga allows us to do that.
Fultz / Cole
RJ / Bouknight
Kuminga
JI / Wagner
Carter / Bamba
Between Kuminga and the Barnes hype I think theres a good chance that its Suggs that falls to 5. While I like Suggs as a prospct does anyone really see him as a 2 guard? I don't think him and Fultz would pair well together. And he would certainely cut into Coles development. Plus we'd have a glaring hole at small fowrard.
Gotta go BPA and I do like Suggs as a prospect but I'm hoping he goes in that top 4 to push someone else down.
If Suggs fell, you take him and move Fultz. Fultz has done nothing to make you adjust your roster to have a player fit with him
Thats what I like about Suggs, at 6'5 and that football body, he can play offguard effectively with Fultz. Not to mention from the fact that he is decent from 3. No need to ship Fultz away because in this era, ballhandling and playmaking is at a premium.
