ecuhus1981 wrote:What the heck, let me lay down some top predictions for the summer transfer window:

1) Haaland to Chelsea for 120mil euros + Abraham

2) Kane to Manchester City for 100mil euros + Jesus

3) Depay to Juventus on a free transfer

4) Sancho to Manchester United for 90mil euros

5) Lukaku to Real for 75mil euros + Jovic

6) Andre Silva to Liverpool for 50mil euros

7) Calhanoglu to Barcelona on a free transfer

8) Dybala to Atlético for Morata

9) Brozovic to Atlético for 25mil euros

10) James Rodriguez to Roma for 15mil euros

I see Hazard, Pogba, Salah and other big names staying put. Tell me where I'm wrong!

1) nothing yet, I still think this is a plausible outcome. I love Dortmund, we all know that they tend to bluff on player valuations, relative to eventual transfer fees. Maybe they dig in their heels on Erling, they certainly don't NEED to sell him. I just think he'll go for less, still a giant number but not the 200mil they've quoted.

2) nothing final here either, and no substitute signing that would preclude it

3) I was wrong, he DID go to Barcelona as many predicted. I knew it was likely, I was just looking at roster and wage balancing. The key development is that Barça have let Messi become a true free agent, since they don't have the funds to re-sign him yet at the number he seeks. They will sell a few more players (ahem, *Griezmann*) to make it happen.

4) Done, and actually for even less than I predicted.

5) not a ton of smoke here, Real may not address their strike position after all.

6) RB Leipzig pipped some bigger clubs here, good for them. They know a sound investment when they see one.

7) oooooh, he switched sides to the crosstown rivals on a free? That stings.

8) Morata extended his loan at the Old Lady, which might pave the way for this permanent transfer. Or not. Who knows.

9) I would love this, but it sounds like our big acquisition in the midfield will be for De Paul. Meh, he's very good but not the destroyer nor the box to box type that I think fits us best.

10) nothing final, it sounds like AC Milan will land him

Doubt Dortmund would sell Sancho and Haaland in the same offseason.
They would be fools to do this and probably receive negative feedback from their fans.
Haaland will play another season at Dortmund and then go to the highest bidder.

Leipzig got a pretty good deal with Silva. Clear upgrade. However, the transfer terms and conditions are a modern day fraud.
Frankfurt will get 23 mil. € and Silva and his management will get the remaining 12 mil.

Arsenal made a bid for Locatelli. As with every rumor/target, I'll believe it when he puts on an Arsenal jersey.

Also, looks like:
Sancho and Varane to Man United
Sergio Ramos to PSG

If Man U sign Sancho, Varane and Camavinga that's basically the deals I did in the first season of my Fifa 21 career.

My opinions on some of the concurrent CFC rumors/targets

1) Håland ( lol not happening)
2) Lukaku (not happening and do not want)
3) Aurelian Tchouameni ( Dream signing, 21 year old Casemiro. Reports saying Petr Cech loves him - but they're going to wait another year. So sad about that)
4) Camavinga (I think he's slightly overhyped, but if we hijack united. cool)
5) Edmond Tapsoba (Interesting. I think he's an upgrade over Zouma only of our cb's, but he's young and been performing at a high level)
6) Maxence Lacroix (Need him at la Chels now)
7) Jules Kounde (Indifferent)
8) Declan Rice (Never enter Cobham again. Awful player)
9) Lewa (Yup, only other 9 I'd take that isn't Håland. Thiago Silva signing v2. Him and Kai would run rampant)

hmmm, As an opposition player I've never liked him. He's dirty and wily. He used to be a very , very good WB but in recent seasons he's seemed a bit lazy and whiny but still at times (against us) plays very well. He's only 31, I thought he was perhaps a year or two older.

So I guess it's a good pick up, especially considering that we have 2 very young and potentially very good LBs in Luke Thomas and Devontae Campbell, so his place is not in stone plus we need more depth if we really want to make a run at the Europa League whilst staying in Prem contention. It also allows Castagne to move back to the right where he is fantastic which I guess means that Ricardo will play higher as our left winger. and of course within a few months James Justin will be back from injury who was our best player until his injury last year.

It wouldn't have been a priority for me but on a free how can I complain. He also adds a bit of experience to a team that is losing Morgan, Fuchs and King this season.

what's the latest on Abraham? I'd still like to sign him even though we've now picked up Daka.

Also are Loftus cheek and Barkley sold or let go?
Danny Drinkwater?

Need Tammy gone. They might keep him as insurance if they can't buy a striker this summer, but even the tier 1 insiders keep repeating that a striker of some variant is coming. Idk what that means if it isn't Erling, Romelu or Lewa.

He's back at Cobham for early training sessions though as of now along with RLC, Hudson-Odoi and some other academy boys. I think he ends up at some midtable side eventually though with second tier Euro football on schedule next season. Maybe that means King Power stadium :naaa:

Is Hudson Odoi available? I'd take him for our RW in an instant.

Well, the insanity of this transfer window continues. Real have made a 160m euro bid for Mbappe, and apparently according to Romano and various sources he's set on leaving either this window or as a free agent next summer. We could very realistically see Messi, Ronaldo and Mbappe all move clubs this window.

If PSG is a clever club, they will accept that offer. Otherwise, Mbappe will come to Madrid without any compensation.

Kounde seems essentially done. As well as Zouma to West Ham.

Tchouameni please and it's a 10/10 window

Why is the Agent of CR7 currently in Paris? Is psg also an option for his client?
