No Giannis, means automatic Suns win 4 maybe 5. If Giannis plays, Bucks in 6.

The Suns have better starters at every position, deeper bench and a much better coach. It's gonna be easier than the Nuggets in the 2nd round. Suns in fo'.

Bucks in 6 or 7 with Giannis.

Suns in 6 with no Giannis.

Even if Giannis plays, you guys really think he will be close to 100%? I feel like people are discounting that fact.

He hurt his knee bad. Weve already seen what guys look like when rushing back from injury. Harden, Trae Young etc.

Not to mention he will lack conditioning. Took CP3 a few games to get back to normal.

I would expect a 50% Giannis at best. He might hurt more than help them.

If Giannis wins does this get him into the top 20 all time.
Assuming he gets finals mvp as well.

Even if Giannis comes back, this Suns team is a legit threat to win, I have Suns in 5, I just don't see them losing this series at all. Match-up wise they seem pretty even, but with Ayton, Crowder, Payne, they just have more valuable depth than the Bucks.

Yeah this is a good point, I don't know who can heal in a week from that kind of an injury but I don't think Giannis will be 100% and his game is all about going downhill with size and speed. Honestly Giannis needs to have a post game, proper footwork, back to the basket, maybe a 10 foot turn around fadeaway (at his height, no one is stopping that). Or else he'll be the next D12, which isn't bad but hey. I suppose we'll see next week

Edit: Has Giannis been improving in those areas that I mentioned? I don't wanna sound ignorant, cause I haven't seen many of his games besides the playoffs. His footwork is actually decent but with his tools man he can have an amazing back to the basket game

Even with Giannis, the Bucks are the underdogs in this series.

Suns has more depth and chemistry. The Bucks has to limit their mistakes and turnovers to have a chance to win. Their edge over the Suns is experience and their grittiness but Suns has Cp3 who is their great stabilizer that's why I think Suns is the stronger team to come out the eventual winner

Suns should win this pretty easily with Giannis out. Bucks win if Giannis plays.

Let’s be real guys: the series will be decided by which team has the next catastrophic injury. Time to put money on Forbes or Kaminsky for FMVP

Serious question, is Giannis holding back the Bucks?

He kills ball movement, liability on the ft line.

I know it's not a popular take, but Giannis should really stick to post game and pnr. Take the ball out of his hands, he's not a number 1 guy

No Giannis, Suns in 5.

Crowder, Chris Paul have gone through more playoffs pain than Bucks...

Giannis plays... Suns in 5
Giannis out.... Bucks in 7
purely because Bud forgets how to coach and adjust when Giannis is on court for some reason.

Suns in 6.

If Giannis plays, 4-0 for Suns.

It all depends on Giannis' knee.

I expect Anteto to be out for the first game.

It would have make sense to do an effort playing in the seventh game against the Hawks, but he will not risk to play in a first game of the Finals.

I would love it, but I don't believe it.

The Bucks are way better than the Nuggets without Jamal Murray IMO.
Who were the second, third and fourth best players for the Nuggets?

The Bucks have Middleton, Jrue and Brook Lopez. No one on the Nuggets (other than Jokic) are better than them.

The only way the Bucks win is if they have Middleton score out of his mind each game but you just don't know which version of him you're getting from game to game.

He might have 6 points one game and 30 the next.
